This is a very nice store! It is clean and well organized, and the Produce department is pretty large and has just about everything you are looking for, INCLUDING Daikon Radish… Really! Of course they have a fair share of Organic produce and a section of organic and/or healthy refrigerated and freezer items like Amy’s Burritos, Almond Milks, Coffee drinks, etc. There are also a few aisles of just«healthy» type stuff like chips, breads, cookies, you name it. Not just organic foods but also low processed food without a ton of additives. They also cater to the Gluten Free shoppers. Besides that they have a fresh meat and seafood department, as well as the packaged meats. You name it, they probably have it. They have a pretty big Deli and Bakery, and a refrigerated section with packaged Boar Head meats, cheeses and pickles as well as other unique brands. The employees I’ve talked to have been VERY friendly and helpful! checkout has been a breeze for me(knock on wood). Its a nice store and I like to mix up the grocery shopping experiences now and then so as not to get in a food rut, and this is a great place to go.

The only reason why Kroger makes it up to three stars is because of the amazing people at the pharmacy. What grocery store runs out of fresh garlic??? One small plus they recently updated and redid the produce section. Unfortunately the meat section didn’t get an update at the same time. Also the rewards program is good it’s always nice to save a few $ at the Kroger gas station. It’s a set up from Food Lion but no even in the same league as Publix.

On the one hand, this is probably the best grocery store in Garner. Cheaper than Lowe’s Foods and better selection than Food Lion. But on the other hand, its concept of «organization» is ridiculous. The juice boxes aren’t in the same aisle as the bottles of juice. The pizza sauce isn’t in the same aisle as the spaghetti sauce. The Boar’s Head pepperoni isn’t anywhere near the Hormel pepperoni. I can’t count the amount of time I’ve wasted walking around this place looking for something that should be easy to find. On the plus side, the employees are generally helpful, the checkout is usually pretty quick and they have a decent selection of Asian and Latin American foods.

This is a great grocery store. Friendly staff, good deals and well organized. Bathrooms are usually really gross though.

I laugh every time I walk in the door and see the photo of James Bond(007), the meat manager. A decent Kroger, as far as Kroger’s go; I’ve been shopping here weekly for about a year now. The digital coupons, and super speedy check outs keep me coming back. Stock is always good with the exception of last week when we came on a mid-Saturday afternoon, and several items we normally buy were sold out.

This Kroger is a hidden gem located less than 5 miles from downtown Raleigh. Located just a short jaunt down Person/Hammond Street at the intersection of 70 and Timber Drive, this grocery store is packed full of good deals. It’s not a fancy Kroger and doesn’t always have the best of the best, but it more often than not has fresh produce & good meat. This grocery is the polar opposite of the Teeter in Cameron Village– the parking lot is never full, there are ample carts, and the lines are super quick! They have a good hot food selection & the deli meats are always tasty. If it were just a bit newer or the bathrooms a bit nicer, I’d give it 5 stars in no time.

The one on Six Forks is cleaner with a larger variety. This particular Kroger is ok. It’s convenient but the organic section is so miniscule. It’s like 3 short aisles. The cashiers are hit or miss.

I have recently moved and have been searching for a new grocery store(which is a really big deal for me!). I found Kroger and was skeptical at first because I have never shopped at Kroger before, but I have been beyond impressed with their selection and prices. They have a fabulous variety of reasonably priced, healthy choices. Prices are comparable to shopping at Walmart but with a much better selection of healthy foods and no need to fight the insanity of Walmart. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. There is nothing that I can say negative about this store… they even have kid cars for my wiggly toddler so I can shop when he’s with me :)

This store seriously needs a refresh its dirty and rundown it would be nice to compete with new publix or Harris teeter and self checkout is a pain when using rewards card and you can rarely if ever be checked out by a cashier because always only one or a few working I have seen Kroger stores that are modern and new just NOT in Raleigh area

We frequent this Kroger because it is the closest grocery store to the food desert! Roughly 4 miles from my house in Downtown Raleigh. It is in an older shopping center on Timber Dr. They are trying to revitalize this area by adding a Menchies Frozen Yogurt and the Target is hanging on by a thread. It is a great location for those of us deprived of a grocery store. The produce is not nearly as good as the Six Forks location, but it will do. They always have a lot of meat on special and the prices are very competitive. The organic/healthy section is a little scarce compared to the other Kroger, but for the convenience it will do. There is a red box at this location. The parking lot is large and well laid out. The bathroom has multiple stalls, but is usually dirty and not well stocked. It smells like someone smokes in there during break time. Yuk! All in all as whole it will do.

I find this store has a much more limited selection than the Kroger on Six Forks at Wake Forest. Especially their selection of produce, they don’t have wide a variety to choose from and often some produce items are out of stock. And the ethnic selection(Indian, Mexican, Thai ingredients) is not as good.

Overall a great store with a great staff. I have never encountered a problem that was not handled professionally by management or the general staff. A plus is the location. Easy to get in and out of. Also Target, Home Depot, OfficeMax and PetsMart all in the same shopping center. Negative? Nothing really. Just beware of in hurry shoppers in the parking lot from 5 to 6PM weekdays.

Great local grocery store and good location. I’ve always been very happy with the selection and the staff are friendly and helpful. A few times, the produce has been subpar, but overall very fresh. Great wine selection, extensive greeting card section, very nice bakery, yummy rotisserie chickens, excellent specials. I really like the rotating holiday section and can find perfect stocking stuffers, candy, and picnic items. Have never used the pharmacy but appears to be efficient. This our go-to place for weekly groceries and pantry staples. Two thumbs up!

I must disagree with most of the reviews. I was an asst. store manager for Kroger up north, and I am ashamed of this location entirely! The meat department never gas enough of what’s on sale in the case, and if you shop after 6pm, good luck getting any viable produce. On several occassions, there has not been 1 banana in the entire store. There is also usually only express lanes open around 7pm– peak shopping time. As I know well, the store atmosphere changes dramatically as the managers get shifted around, so maybe this month the store will be better than it has been in the past. If not, I will try it again in a few more months.

I do all of my regular grocery shopping here. Store is large, clean and well lit. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that they are slow to restock the produce on Sundays when the new sale ads start.

I enjoy this grocery store. They have a great organic selction, and that’s what I live for, especially since there isn’t a Trader Joes around. The staff is friendly and will get to know you by name, eventually. It’s even open 24 hours for your late shopping needs!

This is a nice supermarket. It is very large and has a great selection. It’s big enough to have a full service seafood section. Because it is such a large chain, there are plenty of house brand products for saving money. For more exotic products, you are probably better off trying a Harris Teeter or Whole Foods, but we like to do our regular grocery shopping here.
