MoJo’s Grill

The girls working there are rude, lazy, and wanted to charge me for ridiculous shit!!! We were regular customers for three years, and never had this attitude when the guys work there. For forty cents they threw us out and we did not enjoy our dinner. This place has been a nightmare and disappointment. Never going back!!!

Great place to grab a burger. I eat here at-​least monthly.
One of the best burger combo meals in Garner with a $ 5 – 7 pricing point.
Cheeseburgers and Chicken Sandwiches are my favorite things here and I recommend them.
While the fries are always great and never soggy, try substituting for a fresh greek side salad or pay a little more to substitute for onion rings.
The Gryo and baklava are tasty as well.
Many of the other menu items I’ve tried are acceptable but not the greatest.

This is a good place to eat; but the Spanish lady that works there thinks she’s white American… I always buy there but now I think about it because of her. She has a nasty rude attitude; the Latin lady that’s there has an attitude when my Spanish friends call. I recommend eating there in the day. Avoid eating at night because of her rude attitude.

I’m going to go for 5 stars although I’ve only been one time, but it felt great to walk into a locally owned Grill in a comfy little place with a nice menu. I chose a Fish Sandwich because I love them and its hard to find them anywhere else. I was pleased! I also loved the photos of muscle cars and the pictures and decorations which made it feel like you were in someone’s entertainment room at their house, with friendly folks, good food grilling and a soda fountain. :-)

The ventilation is sub-​par in there. It used to be a coffee shop and you’d leave smelling like coffee. Now you leave smelling like food. Yuck.
The food is also sub-​par. Didn’t make any lasting impression on me.

Great food. Always Fresh. Have been eating here for years. I have never had a bad meal. Service is always friendly!

I LOVE MOJOS! They have great burgers and gyros and are very reasonably priced. Wonderful staff, very friendly, and the owner is so nice! Lots of old car pictures make up the décor and are a lot of fun to look at while you are dining! They also now offer cheesecake factory cheesecake! You won’t be disappointed!

Went there based on the reviews that I saw. I was not impressed. I got the wings they tasted like frozen food knockoffs. This place might be okay for the ha school lunch crowd. But not for me.

I am addicted to wings so I went to this restaurant to eat the wings. they look big on the plate and then when I began to eat them and there was more breading than meat, disgusting. The restaurant looks clean and the owner was friendly. The best wings are at hooters near chapel hill and Sammy’s Tap and Grill on Western Blvd. By NC State. And TGIF, in Garner.

Well it is almost embarassing to admit I just went to Mojo’s for the first time very recently sine i live nearly walking distance from the place. I guess you miss some gems in you own back yard some times. I must say both time i have been to Mojo’s the food has been great. I recently had their burger it was quite a tasty burger and it was plenty big even for me.
Atmosphere 4 — For a strip mall restaurant it has quite a bit of charm.
Service 4 — Mojo’s only has counter service but the folks who have waited on me have been very nice, warm, open, and friendly.
Cost/​Value 4 — For what we got I thought the prices was quite reasonable.
Food 4 — The food we got was fresh, hot and tasty. Their Philly subs, hamburgers and gyro platters were great.

Food is always served hot. You will never get cold french fries at this location. Beware: the fries are very hot!

Great place, locally owned, delicious cheesesteaks! 5 – 10 minute wait time. Staff is consistently well mannered. Place is kept clean and to go orders are wrapped nicely.

I gave this place 5 stars. I saw the other reviews on here and had to try it. I’m from MS and it is hard to find good local places like this on the road without this app. Food was a 10 and so was the service.

Ate here last night and it hit the spot for a lazy Tuesday night. We weren’t going for a fine dining night out, just some good food to put in our bellies when I didn’t feel like cooking!
I got the gyro platter… very pleasantly surprised! I am from NY and have had some great Greek food, its one of my favorites. For that reason, I usually don’t get my hopes up too high when I order Greek outside of NY, or even upstate NY. The meat was fresh carved, just like a real Greek restaurant. The salad was great, though I thought it was strange that I was given a dressing option for a Greek salad. Fries hit the spot too– on a not so busy Tuesday night, I was pleased to see a fresh batch of fries made especially for us, as opposed to ones that had been sitting under a heater since lunch time. My fiancé got a Philly cheesesteak and was pleased as well, though he did look jealous of my platter!
Overall, if you are look for some no frills good, fresh food, I highly recommend!

We stopped by MoJo’s for a Saturday lunch, 2 little kids, 2 adults. We stopped primarily due to pretty good reviews here on Unilocal.First impressions were good. There was only one other party eating in the booths, the menu was clear and had good selections and the girl at the counter was very friendly. Soon after we ordered our 4 meals, a group of individuals came in and ordered too. All the individual meals were finished before ours, which didn’t bother me too much, but a little annoying.
We ordered a gyro, gyro platter, kids’ chicken, and turkey wrap. Husband was very happy with his gyro and fries, he thought it was the best he’d had in the area. Kids were happy with the chicken and wrap. My platter was pretty good. BUT, the meat was all way overcooked, a result of the cook getting 8 – 9 orders all at once. The plate was on the small side for salad, fries, pita and meat, so everything was piled on top of everything else. Not great for a salad if you want to use the dressing pouch. I ate the salad along with the meat on the pitas, which was fine. (In spite of the gyro bacon.)
All in all, we’ll probably be back. We love gyros and there just aren’t that many options in the area! I’ll give them at least one more visit hoping for a quiet time for the cook to concentrate on my gyro!

I am a Garner resident and I am SO tired of crappy chain restaurants and that’s why I am a frequent customer of MoJo’s. The store is clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious — they impress me every time!
During my visits, I have eaten a variety of the menu, such gyro platters, cheesesteaks, grilled chicken sandwiches, and salads. All were very delicious and I have nothing negative to say. My absolute favorite is the gyro platter. The meat is SO tender, juicy, and has a robust flavor. The platter comes with a hearty helping of the meat, pita, tzatziki sauce, fries, and a greek side salad. The flavor of the meat is so kick butt, that I often skip using the tzatziki sauce so I don’t dilute the flavor of the meat.
I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and I hope to see more non-​chain establishments come to Garner!

Excellent burgers, friendly staff and the best part, it’s cheap!

This is my favorite place :)
I ordered the chicken gyro with everything, add feta and onions. This is one yummy meal with a side of fries. The owner and his family are very friendly. Since I attend so much he sometimes gives me a discount (I eat here almost everyday). If you eat here you would love this clean and inviting environment from a local eatery.

I saw the sign for MoJo’s Grill popup in our local Target shopping center a couple weekends ago. We were out that way this past Sunday and decided to stop in for a late lunch.
Upon entering, we informed the man behind the counter that this was our first visit. It turns out that we were talking to Joe, the owner of the establishment. He was very engaging and seemed like a very nice guy. He ran us through their menu, which included gyros, burgers, salads, wings, and various other sandwiches. One thing he highlighted was that all their entrees are prepared on demand within five minutes.
The restaurant was very clean and inviting. For a strip mall, counter service restaurant, the décor was very nice, from the tiled bathrooms, which were well maintained, to the hardwood floors under the booths.
The price was very affordable, too. We ordered two adult entrees and a kid’s meal for $ 15. We ordered an ‘Original Cheesesteak’, which my wife said reminded her of her favorite cheesesteak place in her home town, a MoJo’s Burger, and the Kid’s burger. What I liked about the MoJo’s burger was that it was a big burger, cooked fresh, on a really good bun. I would have liked more tomatoes, but that’s about all I can complain about. The kid’s burger was the same sized burger as the MoJo’s Burger. We got one and split it between our two small children.
Based on our first experience at MoJo’s Grill, we will definitely be back.
One thing that Joe mentioned as he has realized that he needs some booster seats for kids to use in the booths. He said he would be ordering those. I also suggested that he get stools for the sink in the bathroom so that kids can wash their hands easier. He said that he would get some of those, too. If he follows through on that, this might become one of our regular spots.
