My First & only experience: dealt with store manager about a chair that I had purchased the protection plan. He was NOT helpful, actually rude & told me I wasted my money & I needed to go thru the protection company (which is the official policy of Office Max) My prior experiences at other Office Max stores was that they went above & beyond, processed the protection plan claim & got me a new item immediately. I discovered it was the stores discretion if they took care of the protection plan item. This store did not care about customer service!

First and most likely last visit. came because I happen to go to the ups in this shopping center and it saved me 10 minutes if I came here instead of staples. Decent stuff but everything is majorly dusty which makes me wonder how long everything has been sitting here… but that would have been okay bit service here is indifferent borderline rude. With that kind of service, the 10 minute drive to staples in white oak is soooooo worth it! Go to staples if you want good service with new non dusty products.

Went to garner location could not find one employee for help and when I left there were 3 employees at front not one said hello or anything I went to staples prices are lower and their staff is friendly and helpful and you get none of that at OfficeMax

If you are in need of office, school or just general supplies then OfficeMax may be your place. The prices are decent and this store seems to have just about everything you need.
An added plus is that the store is not pushy with sales like that of other locations. Granted, if you do need help it may be sometimes difficult to find because of the skeleton staffing on hand. Overall, the staff appears to be product knowledgeable and helpful.
Great large copy center at the rear of the store. Also this store allows FedEx drop-off’s, which is a benefit, rather those roadside bins (and you get a drop off receipt for proof).
Overall a decent store and worth doing business with.
