Oh I don’t care about«made in China» and«over-priced mass-produced goods» lecture someone always gives me when I boast about my Pier 1 purchases. Anyone ever thinks that we are maybe making history and in 100 years our wooden squirrel from pier 1 along with glittering drunk-looking penguin will be worth hundreds of $$? Either way, this particular store takes care of my recent newly-wed cravings of beautiful household objects. Their dinnerware is simply amazing. I am totally buying out the fake middle eastern set, so stunning I wish princess of Saudi Arabia could drop by for dinner to see it. I agree that this particular store is smaller than others but it keeps the balance on my credit car positive. I just don’t understand why sales items are so scarce. It’s about time the store should severely discount all the indoor peacock themed interior: I have watched your birds for 6 months now; they have a very vague cultural and symbolical meaning, and ready to fly away at reduced prices. Just saying.

They had some nice things here, but overall the selection at this store seemed pretty small. I’ve been in much bigger Pier 1 shops. We were looking for a number of decorative items for our house, but we left empty-handed. They either didn’t have what we were looking for or things were more money than we wanted to spend for the object. We used to go to Pier 1s for their large selection of inexpensive baskets, but this store hardly had any baskets at all. We had a pretty specific list of things we needed, and it might have been different if we just went there looking for ideas.
