This store is the BEST, especially if you’re into vintage games. Rob is definitely being honest when he says«customer first» in his Unilocal profile. I recently was looking for a Sega Genesis, went there, and then purchased one. After bringing it home and playing it for a bit, I noticed a slight issue with the power connector on the back. The only time you would really notice it is if you moved the system, it would sometimes reset.(Note: This is a common problem with some of the older systems, so not something I was surprised about, and could be easily missed.) I reached out to Rob via email about this, and he was happy to provide another Genesis. The next time I stopped by to pick up my replacement, he had one all tested and ready to go, just for me. You can tell that Rob takes pride in what he does, and he’s definitely in it to make the customer happy. Each system is always checked and cleaned, and every single game you purchase is checked and cleaned before it goes to you. Fantastic guy, fantastic store, and fantastic customer service. Best part about the store is that the inventory is always changing, so it’s neat to stop by and see one of those classic games you completely forgot about sitting on the shelf!

This father and son duo are AWESOME!!! I just got stationed out here and got introduced to these guys at Booths Market Place. The selection of old NES games are great and the prices are reasonable. I am always willing to pay a little more to support a local business and you definitely get what you pay for. They put out a great product! They HAND clean every piece of the game before they give it over to you. This type of service is almost non-existent these days. I make sure to stop by every week to pick something up just to ensure these guys stick around for a long time. Keep up the great work guys!

HANDSBESTVIDEOGAMEBOUTIQUEAROUND. Im an avid collector and The Video Game Guy is the only place i go to anymore for all my classic finds. His inventory is much better than any of the other places I have been too, and I have been to a lot. I have driven pretty far to search through classic game stores even in different states but The Video Game Guy is the go to guy. His shop is very fun, lots of memorabilia and rare finds, really brings out the kid in me. The staff is also by far the most friendly and knowledgeable around. Its an all around great store, make sure to check it out!
