Peerless Potato Chips

I grew up in NWI so I was one of the lucky few to grow up eating these potato chips. I now live in California and decided to order some Peerless and have them shipped to my new home. Worst mistake ever…
I called on a Monday morning, no reply. I called again Tuesday afternoon, still nothing. Finally I receive a call back on Wednesday afternoon from probably the rudest, grumpiest man on the planet. I know that Peerless has been struggling lately since they just can’t compete with the big corporations, so I mentioned to the man that I was concerned they had gone out of business since I didn’t hear back for a few days. He replies, «I can’t keep up with all the gossip. Yeah we’ve been out of business for two years.»
We go back and forth for awhile as I try to figure out what’s going on… I mean if they’ve truly gone out of business I’m not going to give this guy any of my financial information. At this point he got more belligerent and hung up on me.
I took my concerns to their Facebook page where I received nasty messages from the company and even the owner attempted to report my post as spam. How can I be spamming your page when I’m sharing something that actually happened to me?
At this point, I’m officially done with Peerless Chips. Their nasty behavior has cost them a lifelong customer. As far as I understand they are actually still in business (Feb 2016) but with horrible customer service like this, they won’t be for much longer.

Fantastic customer service by Scot at Peerless. I left a message asking for a return call to place an order and I received a return call first thing the following day. Scott was very helpful in explaining the UPS shipping cost and item pricing. He truly wanted me to get the best deal. Payment was made through PayPal. Very happy to be able to get my favorite potato chips even though I’m 1500 miles away from NWI. Thanks Scott & Peerless for being accommodating.

Best Chips ever and other company s are trying to copy… every time i go home my Bro greets me with a hello bro hugs and 2 big bags of peerless chipss… i then bust a bag open… good good stuff, nothing like it

Best Potato Chips Ever.
Grew up in Gary and Michigcan City, IN. Still order the chips by phone. They send UPS. A little expensive, but worth it. You got to try them
