Hubby and I love the food here. And we love the regular staff and locals who hang out here. Mark has hired a new bartender — long brown hair, in her 30’s I’d guess. She is rude. And cannot cook to save her life. I love the BLT here. Thick sliced bacon, tomato, and lettuce with mayo and red relish on toasted sourdough is how it always is made. Except when the new girl makes it — she coats the bread(wheat by the way) in butter and grills it like you would do with a grilled cheese. Yucky and greasy! And the relish is always put in a cup on the side, cold, when she cooks. I asked to have it put on my BLT, not to dip it in. She either needs to go or be properly trained. Beyond the poor cooking skills, her attitude and customer service suck. She is rude and obviously knows she did a poor job when she tells you whoops about making your food wrong. We will go back, but we definitely will not stay if she’s working.

Great place and awesome owner!!! Always a fabulous experience when I go in there. They just got a NEWATM that offers EBT/OREGON trail cash transactions. Thank you for providing that service!

The burgers and fries are good and so is the service. But if you don’t enjoy very loud people who use the f word every 5 words, and general insensitive/unintelligent bar banter then stay out, its probably now always this way but why chance it. LOL If someone can explain to me why people have to talk like this in a public place I’d like to know. Last time I went in she gave me a beer in the bottle without asking if I wanted a glass with it. Now if I wanted beer in a bottle I could drink it at home!

Ok, so I am recinding my previous review. They must have had a bad cook on the grill the first time I went in, becuase I have since had the burgers here, and they are acutally pretty good. People seem to like hanging out at the Ace, and the patrons all know each other. Sort of a small town version of Cheers. Everybody knows your name because there are only about 300 names to know.
