I’ve never been to a self-serve yogurt bar. This was different, but I needed something to refresh me and offer some sustenance. I had just arrived in NC and wanted to get balloons for a birthday surprise,(I was the gift), but needed something for my tummy,(I hadn’t eaten since the day before), so my friend’s husband suggested Cherry Berry since they were in the same strip mall as the party store. The«bar» was a long line of soft serve machines with various flavors of yogurts and sorbets, that you squirt out into fairly large cups — even the small was large,(none of the cups were the size of yogurt cups that one might normally purchase — I guess this was done so that you would overindulge — I don’t like this, not too obvious ploy to get you to buy more). Additionally, there were a variety of «toppings» available making any nutritional merit go right out the window. I got just about two-three tablespoons of the watermelon yogurt no toppings and a bottle of room temperature water,(the cashier explained they had just re-filled their bottles, because they had ran out and had to run to another store to purchase more — someone did not plan/order well). My total was just over 2.60, which seems a tad pricey for me doing my own serving and room temperature bottle water.(The price of the yogurt is determined by weight). It’s like bagging ones own groceries and not getting a discount. The place was clean, air conditioned. There was an encased play-area — I’m sure it would be fun for a child. … But still, $ 2.60+ The watermelon yogurt was refreshing, although, it was a tad too sweet. And surprise, I had more than enough — why give into gluttony?

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Charlotte, NC
Third CherryBerrry in the area that my family has been to. This one has the largest selection with 14 different flavors. The staff here has been friendly on every visit and it has a nice outdoor sitting area. We tend to make it our after CiCi’s dinner desert. I am in love with whatever sherbert they have on tap with a vanilla base. They have a good rewards program where you buy 8 and get 1 free. With the wife it only takes 4 trips. Over Memorial day I was given a veterans discount for my service in the Marine Corps which was a very nice surprise. The best yogurt bar I have been to in the Greater Charlotte Area.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Gastonia, NC
Our family loves this yogurt place. Best in Gastonia. Seems like they may not get as much traffic because of their location. It’s not right next to a restaurant or visible from a main road. However, space is bigger than competition, they have better flavors, and impeccable service. My only disappointment… they took away the lemon box flavored yogurt. It was the best and I recommended it to everyone. Summer is coming… please please bring it back!
