They treat their employees horribly and management does not seem to care. Extremely unprofessional and no matter how good of prices they have, I will never ever shop here again. I would rather go somewhere that treats their employees with dignity. The lack of integrity in public makes me wonder about their lack of integrity in private. This is only the second one star review I have ever given in my history on Unilocal and if I could, I would give zero stars.

More than once have I witnessed the manager/​head cashier embarrass one of their longest-​working employees for completely illegitimate reasons. I witnessed it again today, and saw it even bring this worker to tears. So unprofessional, so much lack of care, and so embarrassing for this worker. I’ve spoken with management about it each time, and they clearly do not care and continue to be rude. I am approaching HR and will not shop at this store.

The selection is great, we bought a new house and have been in regularly over the past 6 months. I cannot say enough about the employees! Especially in the garden and paint departments (the two I frequent the most). Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. They are so knowledgable and always share how to save money or do a project the best. IE the paint department employees have helped me with which polyurethane to use and which brushes are best. The gardening department workers have helped with what kind of plants do best in the red clay down here (we are from the Midwest). I have never been to a store with more friendly and helpful employees.

Love me some Lowes in Belmont. The associates are always helpful and accommodating. The selection is vast and the prices are competitive and if they don’t have it then most of the time they’ll let you know when they’ll be getting a new shipment in. Also, if you’re not able to install certain items, Lowes will come out to install for you at a nominal fee. Did I mention how helpful and courteous the associates are? Home Depot has nothing on Lowes except higher prices and unhelpful associates.

The best home improvement store! Whether for our business or personal use they seem to always have what we need. Their customer service is always outstanding.

Being that we’re new homeowners, Lowes has become our new shopping mall. We average 5 trips a week to this particular Lowes so consequently we get a very warm welcome when we come through the doors. There’s an awesome guy in the paint department who is in an 80s rock band and remembers most of our painting projects. We have a morning cashier and an evening cashier who notice when we have a lapse in visits and asks us about it. The garden department has been keeping up with our demand of pine bark mini nuggets… we went last night and the bags were stacked sky high… we bought 10 bags… which is our average purchase. The associates are very friendly and helpful. The store is kept neat, products in stock and bathrooms are always clean. What more could you ask for? Except they be open until midnight… aaah…I can dream.
