Okay — even most guys know what Michael’s is and what they sell. Do they shop there? Probably not or probably not often. Arts and Crafts mecca. Silk flowers, framing services, tons of seasonal stuff, paints, art supplies, etc. I’ve purchased prestretched canvases there before when they’ve been on sale. In general, the prices seem pretty inflated but they continually run sales, so just wait until the item you want is discounted.

Only when your desperate. Below average. this chain in general has become a dump. Make the drive to cheap joes in Charlotte if you are after artist supplies. For crafty stuff this place is your walmart. Hard to beat the sales on frames and weekly coupon though!

If you’re looking for some arts & crafts, then this place will probably have it. It’s a large department store filled with all sorts of well… arts & crafts. I’m not really too big into this as a hobby, so I don’t visit here too often. They do have framing services, so you can get your picture professionally done. If you’re into arts & crafts, then this place should be a must visit for you.
