Horrible service. Waited 45 minutes for our 2 small pizzas. Our waiter was not attentive. Food was just ok. Came here to celebrate my birthday. Very disappointed!

Don’t hire wait staff that has a language barrier. In addition the young women who waited on us seemed to be completely lost. Don’t go here unless you like to give yourself heartburn BEFORE your meal.

I love this place and the location– I live only thirty minutes away and being pregnant all I want is there pineapple pepperoni pizza and Greek salads– the waiters are so sweet and very efficient!

Dinner… We were sat very quickly for how busy the town was. Probably one of the o my positives. We asked for a ginger ale and the waitress had no clue what it is, she had to ask the bartender. Appetizers soup and salads. Soup for the small amount that was served I was very disappointed and the flavor was subpar as well. The tossed salad large was ordered for my son, we were charged a large but the salad was extremely small. Asking waitress was no help either. What is the soup of the day other than the mushroom soup? We only have mushroom soup there is no soup of day… It says to ask your server. Why is it on menu than if all you have is mushroom? For the entrees. Husband orders whole Philly cheesesteak, came out perfectly. I ordered whole portabella mushroom Reuben. Waitress kept asking what bread do I want it on, on the menu it comes on crispy rye roll, she didn’t seem to understand that. I do not want multigrain or white, I want the rye it is served on. When my sandwich arrives it is literally 2 bites. Took her 15 minutes to check on us when I asked where the rest of my sandwich was. She wrote down whole but that was most definitely not whole even though I was charged. Grrr. My kids asked for a large half pepperoni half cheese pizza. They each like their specific flavors and we did say half and half. Nope cheese and pepperoni mixed all over so we had go pull the pepperoni off for one child and sprinkle cheese for the other on the voids. Asking for boxes she threw them on table. Asked for check we got it. Than my kids wanted cups to go. All 3 of us said excuse me, she walked off. Luckily the bartender was helpful. S0 for $ 70 we were not satisfied and this location makes mellow mushroom look bad and definitely gives it a bad name.

My sister and I stopped in here on a recommendation. We were not real hungry so we split a small cheese, mushroom and onion pizza. The size was perfect for our needs. The food and atmosphere was great and the food prices are good, $ 12.66 for our pizza. We each got 2 pieces. Beers, $ 6.29, a bit high. Our server Shawn Z was fantastic! I will definitely go back there when I return to Gatlinburg.

A must stop for great eats and open air atmosphere. Can accommodate small and large groups. Inside and outside seating. Great service. Food was fantastic. Their pizza — the best!

Not sure if what to eat, and with rain in the forecast we decided to try this place for lunch… I enjoyed the outdoor seating option despite the warm day in TN! Food was ok and service was so so. Prices seemed reasonable for portion.

Cherish each moment of vacation… and that goes for the pizza as well! After all, why waste lunch on bad pizza! I haven’t eaten in a Mellow Mushroom pizza shop for 10 years, but I was not disappointed in Gatlinburg ’ s location. It’s colorful, it’s intersting, and yes, the pizza is very good! We ordered a medium plain and a medium Applewood bacon, and dang it, delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and timely, although he did try to make the mandatory appetizer upsale. Bathrooms were clean, and waiters and waitresses were in good humor. Prices were steepish, but not out of line. It’s good to know that Mellow Mushroom maintains my memories of magnificence!

Not my favorite, food was ok. Being a vegeterian at most tourist location, pizza is the safest option. The toppings on the pizza were scarce. Even when you charge extra for a topping, I expect it to be worth the price. The pizza wasnt crispy as I would generally like it to be crispy if not always wood-burned one. Found it pricey.

We have a Mellow Mushroom at home, but I’ve never been. Since the strip was stupid crowded, we decided to stop off and grab some lunch here.(After another pizza place decided to seat is and then never come back) First impressions: I think you have to be a Deadhead or Phan to work here, but that’s ok with me. Also, they have a bunch of adult slushies at the bottom of the stairs and I love slushies. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and it was really just pizza dough shaped like a pretzel, kind of a let down. For pizza we got half Thai Dye and half Loaded potato. Both were really good and no one had any complaints. Overall, it was a good experience and made me want to try the one back at home.

Tourist town so I expected it to be touristy. I really went for a beer and it was late so limited choices. Average pizza, but service was good and the beer was really good. I had a few local regional brews. No hurry to return but in a pinch I would.

We stopped in here for lunch one day and were delighted to find an abundance of seating for large parties — they had booths that can fit 8 adults. There is also a smaller outdoor section, but it may not fit larger parties during busy times. This location is right by the Old Smoky Distillery where there is typically outdoor music, which you may be able to hear on the Mellow Mushroom patio. In general, Mellow Mushroom is on the expensive end for pizza, but it is so very good. My mom and sister were excited to see the gluten-free menu, from which they got a Kosmic Karma pizza. I also got a Kosmic Karma, but the non-gluten-free option. It was delicious. The crust was so fluffy — like built-in breadsticks. My husband and his sister shared a mega veggie and, indeed, it was topped with mega amounts of veggies and tofu. There was an astounding amount of tofu on that pizza. I also really liked the create-your-own-salad option. More places should start implementing that! Service is very hit-or-miss along the Gatlinburg Parkway, but our server was awesome and very prompt with everything. He brought the pizzas out as they were ready and nobody had to wait on drinks.

What a delightful find!!! I’m new to the Mellow Mushroom experience and I was H Y P E to even see the words«seitan» «tofu» and«tempeh» on the menu in region that is incredibly meat heavy. My gf, a dedicated Vegetarian and me, a wannabe, had so many things to choose from. A rarity. We shared a large Greek salad with the Esperanza dressing. The portion was huge and we would have been just fine with a small. The signature dressing was a great addition to an already flavorful salad. We also shared the tempeh hoagie. YASS! The tempeh was perfectly marinated and grilled for extra goodness. A bunch of grilled veggies and that pesto mayo. This meal was so bold in flavor and we scarfed that thing right down. Although large, sharing this hoagie is not suggested as its soooo good, so keep it to yourself. The rest of our group enjoyed their meals and we all left with content, yet larger bellies. Mellow Mushroom, please come to DE, or PA, or NJ… or anywhere I don’t have to fly to!

We really like this place and as far as pizza is concerned, they are really good. Everything tastes fresh and hot and cooked to order. That being said, please be aware that if you order the pizza expect to wait about 20 minutes or so. We like the Thai Dye. YUM! There’s not much to say about this place other than that it is good and the service is great. Love the décor at all Mellow Mushrooms. Very trendy and almost hipster.

The food here was good but over priced. I got an individual pizza(red skinned potato) and it was $ 14 for a small amount of food. Our server was nice at first but then got a large party and basically abandoned us after that. The host roger was not pleasant at all.

Really good pizza, but VERY greasy. Plan on having at least a napkin or two, it ran down my palm once while I ate and I was a little grossed out but the pizza was too good to stop eating. Their menu is expansive, you can get some pizzas that you wouldn’t find in most places. Also their crust is AWESOME. Very good, went here on a reccommendation from a friend and am glad I did.

Military discount– yes Fast friendly service– no Great location– yes(but that’s why it gets a low star rating) We arrived feeling quiet hungry after walking around most of the day we decided we needed some grub. It wasn’t quiet time for a dinner rush so we were seated right away. I do want to point out most people prefer a booth so why they always try to stick you in a table I’ll never know? So after asking the hostess if there was a booth she quickly found us one. I for one don’t want to over look the streets of gatlinburg trying to eat with people looking up at me while I’m shoving my face. After being seated our waiter came out took our drink orders and assumed everyone was drinking the same thing. Nope sorry fellow I want water not Coke. So after about 20 mins our food came out. Now I do believe this is the first mellow mushroom we have ever eaten at and I’m pretty sure it will be our last. The hubs and son got a over priced greasy thin pizza and I got a tasteless hoagie. Now I know hoagies are a lot of bread but come on now there was hardly any meat in it at all! I could have at least had some greasy drippings poured on top to soften the hard bread up. But nope and talk about no taste I think they skipped the seasoning altogether on mine. Now on to the pizza… they got the large size it was a little burnt around the edges and the crust was super tough. Guess we needed to sharpen our teeth? It was super thin and rather greasy(guess that’s where my drippings went). So when we finally got ready to go we couldn’t find our waiter for our bill. By this time I have had enough of this place. So finally get comes by and hands it over the hubs ask if they do military discounts which he said yes they did he just needed to go print out a new receipt. Ok that’s fine no problem until it turned into a 30 min longer wait just for a ticket. So he came back said their server was down but it should only be a couple of mins. Nope I was so over this place I expressed this to the waiter he then said he would have the manager come over yep that never happened. He then came back said they could do 20% off since we had waited so long but would try to go swipe our card. What he failed to mention was that they would swipe it old school. You know where it shows your whole number on it yeah that’s a no for me. So he brings it back and they had hand written our credit card number on the old school paper! I was like no! You should have told us I asked how much it was and he told us I looked at my husband and was like how much cash do you have?! He had just enough to pay our bill. And I ripped up the paper he had written our credit card number on! If your system is down you need a back up or tell people ahead of time because I for one don’t like my number printed on anything! Will we be back to this location no… will we be back to another mellow mushroom that’s a big fat NO. Better yet get in your car and just drive to pigeon forge service is way better at any place you eat at and it won’t be as over priced as in Gatlinburg.

Got hear about 8:20 on a Saturday night and was told we would have a 45 minute wait for 2, not bad for around here. They also take your number and text you when your table is ready so you can walk around while you wait. I would also highly recommend picking up a frozen beverage downstairs while you wait(you can take them upstairs with you). The bear tranquilizer is awesome!(Peach and rum) We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and it was served with little sections of garlic toast. It was good, though mostly spinach… it was lacking on the cheese/dip part we’re used to. For dinner I ordered a small half white pizza and half red potato pizza. My boyfriend ordered a medium build your own with pineapple, bacon, and ham. I asked for no sun-dried tomatoes on the white pizza portion of my pizza, but they put a ton of them on and I had to dig them out. They also had random peppers and other erroneous toppings on my boyfriends pizza. The red potato pizza was different, but really good. Service wasn’t terrible but our server was unattentive. I would come back here again, though it might not be my first choice. Basically if everywhere else has a 2 hour wait, come here.
