Food decent, poor service…& on a February Saturday not-very-busy afternoon, no excuse. As large as the restaurant selection is in the Gatlinburg — Pigeon Forge tourist mecca, fund somewhere else to eat.

Super fast and efficient service. To start We ordered drinks and app… no sooner did she put order in computer it was arriving to our table. Being that we had 3 small children with us this was amazing! Then, we ordered our entrée’s and less than 10min all of our food arrived to the table! Again amazing!!! Food was good, price was very reasonable, service was on point! Would recommend… Especially if stopping in on a quick lunch break. We couldn’t believe how fast everything came out.

After trying to go to the iron boar we got pointed up front to be seated at what we thought would be the iron boar but they sat us in joses. The staff was nice and the salsa was good, it tasted fresh and was home made. That’s about the only thing that was good about the food. We weren’t too hungry so my boyfriend and I shared the sampler plate. It was similar to buying frozen apps from the grocery and heating them up. Not at all what I was expecting after the salsa. The queso was basically the same as white velveeta. Very disappointing and I’m sure we won’t be back.

We stopped here on our the first day of vacation last year and it such a great decision. Before eating here, my lifelong choice of Mexican food was Quesadillas, so I decided to branch out and try fajitas. I’ve had them 10 – 15 times since, and nothing beat these! I can’t remember the name of the drink I had, but it was massive, blue and delicious. This restaurant has been brought up so many times in conversation since we ate there — we can’t wait to come back in April!

The food here is pretty delicious. This is a family favorite of ours. This last time I didn’t choose correctly but I do enjoy their food. Large portions and great sizes. Our server seemed really uninterested in providing service. He kept walking away as I attempted to put in appetizers. He did not check on us throughout the meal and brought the bill without asking if we wanted dessert or wanted to box any of the leftovers. I thought this was pretty poor service. However, I’ve been here before and have had enjoyable experiences.

Awesome Mexican food. Everything from the chips to the beans were excellent. The Russian Waiter is pretty cool and nice.

We wanted a place for Christmas Eve. Jose’s was one of the few places open. And, did we luck out. They served up some of the best Mexican food we’ve had. The guac was absolutely the best. Service was outstanding and the food came out fast and hot. This needs to be on your list while in Gatlinburg. Excellent food. Thank you.

i gave it an extra star, because of the huge churro vanilla ice cream dessert. but otherwise, i cannot recommend this place ATALL. Everything is from a can or frozen. my husband did not feel good after eating here. I think food in gatlinburg is not good, no matter where you go. you’re better off eating at mcdonalds.

This was the absolutely worst food I have ever had frmo a Tex/Authentic Mexican restuarant. I am a huge margarita man and the drinks were way too lean for what you pay for them. The food was deplorably bad. We spent sixty dollars on the two of us and we had less than four bites from each plate. I can eat mexican food all day, every day but this place is just bad. I had written another review and it has disappeared. The waitstaff was bad as well. Slow service, we weren’t even a quarter of the way into the sampler platter when the main course came out and it was obvious that none of the waitstaff in the building wanted to be there. No wonder I was able to park at the front door.

Inside was nice, food wasn’t that great. I had the vegetarian burrito and it seemed like it was a microwaveable bag of steam fresh veggies wrapped in a tortilla. :/but the salsa they served with the chips were good !

The food was nothing to brag about and the service was okay. The real issue with this place came this morning when I started to receive alerts from my bank about credit card fraud. It seems that the credit card I used to pay the bill at No Way Jose’s was suddenly being used for various online purchases. Since this card has no balance and had only been used here I can only deduce that someone at this restaurant stole my credit card information. If you do eat here, pay cash. Thanks for the inconvenience on our vacation.

Our server Gerson made our night. He made our complicated order seems to be so simple. Food was delicious and the price was fair. Highly recommended!

Craving a change of pace from all the flapjack breakfasts, barbeque, and wannabe– chain style restaurants? Do think Mexican might hit the spot? Maybe Mexican would be the right idea, but I am at a genuine loss as to where to find it. I don’t know what sort of «cuisine» you would consider this, but it a FAR cry from ‘Mericanized ethnic food. In a few short words: not very good. I’m all for food, whatever the style, whatever the rendition. I consider myself to be extremely open minded. But I was more than a little frustrated that literally almost everything on the menu involved deep fried tortillas and cheese sauce. Now cheese sauce is great, as a side or as a special appetizer. But No Way Jose’s wanted to lather that stuff on everything from fajitas, to tacos, to taquitos, enchiladas, chips, and chicken. Nothing was safe! Nothing was off limits! Cheese sauce everywhere!!! But I digress. I ordered the soft shredded chicken taco with rice and beans. The chicken inside once I pulled out all the uneccessary cheese, was pretty solid. The beans were cold, the rice had no flavor. I tried putting on the salsa but it was so mild, it had nothing going for it. My mom ordered the chicken and beef taquitos and a salad. The server paid us very little attention and never asked her what salad dressing she wanted. I would honestly never eat here again. I would rather go get some Taco Bell.

Get the Chili Rellenos and Beef Fajitas! Based off the chili rellenos and the beef fajitas I would give No way Jose’s a 5. Both excellent and I highly recommend them. However, the cheese enchiladas and were very disappointing and the hostess seemed lost.

I was a native Californian for most of my life, Mexican food is in abundance in So. CA. A move across the country made me realize that some people think Taco Bell is real Mexican food. Finally found a place near where I live and on my trip to Gatlinburg TN. No way Jose’s is fresh and delicious Mexican food. Order yourself a corona and try the shrimp fajitas Muy Bueno !!!

Food: average flavor, not many spices however not bland. No steak tacos at all, the only option for steak tacos is their fajita plate. Their frying food, have a great crunch to them. Chips are light and crunchy, salsa is below average since it’s too watery and no spice to it. Customer service: average/they took a long time to get to us and they were not even busy Price: fair but their food could be better Not a spot I would recommend nor would I eat again if I was to visit again

Lucky for me they had a gluten free menu online for easy choosing! They even had a GF margarita! A little salty for my taste, but I was happy to have the options. Not to many vegetarian choices but the fajita veggies were pretty tasty. Thank you for having options! Not very many in the sea of steakhouses in Gatlinburg!

Can I say delicious! My husband and I came here on our first anniversary! I feel terrible I can’t remember our waiters name but he was sweet and had everything to us in a timely manner also the food was so good I ate so much and couldn’t even eat a sweet. And boy if anyone knows me I don’t leave without desert! We had the fajitas for two. My favorite is the white queso. Being from Texas its always different.

It was just… OK. The chicken breast I had with Shrimp and cheese and pico, was good. Nothing fantastic. The salsa is so watery is doesn’t stay on the chip, just rushes off of all sides while you are trying to eat it. Left a lot to be desired. Just chopped tomato and onion, no flavor. The margaritas should not be purchased by any self-respecting patron. The mix is so bitter that you immediately start salivating from the tartness, we got a pitcher and had to send it back because it was just bad… later, the couple across from us also sent theirs back. Not a coincidence. We really should have listened to the reviews and not given in to being too tired to walk back up the parkway and find something else.

We stopped by for drinks and chips. The chips were fresh thin and tasted homemade.($ 2.50) The salsa was chunky and looked good but had no spice or flavor. The Very Berry margarita was great.($ 7.50) My girlfriend said the restaurant could have been cleaner. It has a nice patio overlooking the drainage ditch/River. Overall a nice place to get refreshed. It is located right next to the aquarium
