My boyfriend and I went on a cross country trip from PA and hit up Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and TN. I have to say I was looking for a place like this everywhere. They had a little bit of everything and a kitchen with hot food. We camped the entire way so it was nice to get some fried green tomatoes and a hoagie! The woman we talked to was super nice and gave us some info about some trails. We were there 3 nights and went there everyday to get a meal that would fill you up for the day.(Also end of a 14 day trip we were very light on food and sick of mre’s). They had some survival supplies for campers, nicknacks, ice, beer, area to eat and in the same shopping center was a liquor store and I believe a large camping supply store across the way. We talk about going back to the smokeys because we know we could camp light and visit old dads!

Food wise I would probably give this 3 stars. However when I see the ratings on surrounding places to be fair I had to up my rating. My husband and I walked in this place first. We decided we wanted to go somewhere with table service and continued on. After looking at ridiculous prices for the same hamburger, philly, chicken sandwich over and over we decided to go back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love this little place. Limited selection but what they have is tasty and a treat. I enjoy coming to visit whenever we are in Gatlinburg. Service is friendly and love that they have their own parking lot. Super convenient and clean.

Ordered the corn nuggets & fried pickles. Service was good, fast and friendly. The corn nuggets were delicious. But the pickles were a bit disappointing. I loved the breading but the pickles where way too watery which made them hard to enjoy especially while hot. I’ve made a lot of fried pickles and find its best to dry the pickles out first before battering them. These still tasted really juicy which burned our mouths when we tried to eat them. Also, the serving sizes weren’t the same as described as their online menu. Still, prices here are great, menu is huge and the store is fun to browse and shop thru. Definitely worth checking out.

We love it. We will eat breakfast there a couple times when in town. Great sandwiches to take on a pic nic. Yes a little pricey for some stuff but we’ll worth it.

This is a great legitimate General Store. It is also a tourist shop but not tacky at all… you can tell this is family run. The girls who fixed our breakfast both days… Absolutely ROCK! Bonus– a nice liquor store attached to it with good selection and very fair prices. The

This place is quite the food gem! Had the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. Also tried some sausage biscuit it’s also very delicious. Prices are much cheaper than the other breakfast places that you have to stand in line forever for that are just sub par. I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast. I haven’t been here for lunch so I can’t really review that but I’ll have to stop in another time and try it out.

The ladies behind the food counter are AWESOME!!! On only our second visit they remembered us and were just absolutely fantastic. My favorite experience in the tourist trap that is Gatlinburg. They have THEBEST homemade potato chips EVER! Sandwiches were top notch. One of the ladies accidentally burnt some French fries and before tossing them in the trash she asked if we’d like to take them. I love crispy fries so we took them, they were perfect and crinkle cut to boot. They have burgers and breakfast sandwiches too but, we did not get a chance to try them. Go for the chips, go back for the service! Thanks ladies! Hope to be back soon to visit.

Friendly place. Jokes are free. Good for beer and snack items. Milk eggs and butter available. Cold cuts and some canned goods. Wine next door. Good for emergency rations. Wine tasting also next door. I’m going to Krogers tomorrow.

Good place to pick up a quick sandwich for lunch. There is only three tables inside to eat at so it is best to plan on getting the sandwiches to go. They have plenty of sandwiches to choose from and also serve hamburgers. They have free parking so it is easy to get in and out. The few times that I have eaten here, my sandwich has always been decent. This place is also a small grocery/convenient store. Most of their items are a little overpriced but that is expected being on the strip in Gatlinburg. Overall a good place to pick up a sandwich especially if you are going hiking or heading up to Clingman’s Dome.

Food is awesome. I had the club sandwich $ 6.99. It was huge & delicious. The store has a little bit of everything you need in it and not too costly!

Best breakfast we had while on vacation. You can tell this place gets a good mix of locals and tourist. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome! Give it a try for a quick breakfast before you start your day. Only leaving 4 stars due to drink refills costing $ 1. Who does that?!

The service was great the food not so much. We ordered and 10 min later they told us they were out of what we ordered. Dummies were in the 7 $ range cone with no sides. They charge for cups of water. Kids said there burgers tasted like hot dogs. Fries were ok.

Had breakfast there. It isn’t like going to a pancake house, in the area, but the breakfast was really good. They serve a lot of biscuit sandwiches for breakfast. I had country ham, eggs & toast. It was very good. Get there early, there isn’t much seating.

If you’ve cycled from Gatlinburg up to Clingman’s dome and back and you’re dying for some chocolate milk to refuel… This is your stop. But also… they have your basic pantry items, lots of coolers filled with cold drinks, beer and some things like eggs and cheese to load up a cooler for camping. Plus you can get a hot breakfast or lunch at the deli counter. What stands out is the customer service. I had to run in here three different times in one day to grab an item or two. Each time the person behind the counter went out of his or her way to help me find what I needed/wanted and was extra friendly. On one occasion when I got to the counter right after the deli closed and I lamented that it was closed the guy insisted that I tell him what I wanted and then went and talked to the girls at the deli to make sure they would do one last order. Great service!

Adorable inside. Neat and clean and they have a ton of stuff(handy if you had a hotel with a kitchenette). We had little breakfast sandwiches before we hit the road. Nothing earth shattering with the food, but it was tasty quick and filling. Just what we were looking for!
