Don’s Own Flower Shop

I got married at Zugibe vineyards in Geneva this past September and looking for a florist. Vicky was recommended to me and she (and her team) did not disappoint! As a very picky bride with a LOT of floral details, she took the time to discuss each and every detail every step of the way with me. I was so pleased that she was able to give me options for my small budget but still make the flowers look like the wedding of my dreams aka a million bucks! She was so professional, knowledgable, patient and accommodating, I said from the start she was my favorite wedding vendor! Don’s Own is the top florist in the Fingerlakes, so if you have the chance, book with Vicky!

I stand by my first review after receiving a fruit basket last week and the only fruit that were edible were the grapes.
The bananas, a week later went from green to rotten. The kiwi arrived spoiled, the pears are still hard and the apples have brown, soft spots all over them.
These fruit baskets are not cheap! Shop around people. Shame on you Don’s.

I used Don’s Own because I was getting married at the Belhurst in Geneva and wanted to work with someone local. I can’t really speak to price because I didn’t do any comparisons. What I can say is that Vicky was extremely helpful in the planning process. I made an appointment with her and she spent over an hour talking with my fiancé and I about what we might want on our wedding day. She was knowledgable and flexible enough to quote out a small, medium and large size for almost everything.
She spent a lot of time planning and quoting centerpieces that we didn’t end up using, and she took that in stride and was just as helpful with our smaller order. She reminded me of upcoming due dates which was very helpful for a busy bride.
Finally, the finished products were absolutely beautiful, which is what really matters in the end. I was very happy with our flowers, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
