I drove 80 miles to visit this store. I needed to purchase two special gifts for two girls at my church, and the selection in my home town is very limited. Flair on Third in Geneva has the cutest clothing and accessories for baby and little girls. The owners Gina and Deb are very helpful and eager to go out of their way to please the customer. They also have a great selection of women’s accessories and clothing as well. Whenever I want something special, I think of Flair on Third.

Finally a store that has a beautiful array of re-purposed furniture that is REASONABLE! The staff are super friendly and helped me pick out multiple items for my house. This will be the first place I will check for those one of a kind pieces.

Remember The Shop Around the Corner that Kathleen Kelly owns in You’ve Got Mail? The sort of place that is warm and cozy. A shop that invites you to enjoy and stay a while. And that’s owned by a woman(or in this case… women) who just warm your heart and make you want to come back again and again. Yep, that’s Flair on 3rd! Newcomers to Geneva are owners Jeanna, Leslie and Martha, but they sure aren’t new to the industry! Loaded with experience, they have brought a beautiful touch of Flair to one of my favorite blocks to shop in Geneva! Walking through Flair, you’ll see a little of this and a little of that. I literally wanted to buy everything! And during my second walk through the shop(on the same day), I noticed things that I hadn’t seen the first time. Everything is on sale from floor to ceiling, so there is a lot to look at, but it’s not crowded and jam packed. It seems just right. Jeanna focuses mainly on baby and children’s apparel, accessories and Love Me Again pieces like children’s dressers, toy chests and desk/chair sets. Love Me Again is what Flair uses to describe an «upcycled» item. The clothing is darling, the perfect gift really, but a little heavy on the girl side of things. Being a mother to a once little boy — I know how boys operate and I wouldn’t have likely boutique shopped for most of his clothes. So this inventory makes a lot of sense, but is worth noting. Jeanna really knows how to grab your attention with her fabulous choices! I know where I’m going for my next baby gift! Leslie is the Queen of Love Me Again! The majority of those pieces throughout the shop are Leslie originals. And they are my favorites! I purchased a piece to give as a birthday gift to a girlfriend. I don’t want to say what I chose since I’m not giving the gift for a couple weeks, but it was pretty and unlike anything else I’ve ever seen before. Leslie also has a hand in the new home décor throughout the shop. She’s got an eye for detail, loves color and brought in some great items. Martha will fill your closet with some of the cutest things! She focuses mainly on women’s clothing, accessories and shoes. I picked out a bracelet for myself — I have no idea what I’ll wear it with yet, but it was right up my alley and it was a reasonable find, so I couldn’t pass it up! Martha will definitely add Flair to your wardrobe with fancy aprons, adorable handbags and blinged out belts! These women sell what they like. And this makes sense to me. They also did their homework before taking up residency immediately next door to The Little Traveler. TLT is an institution and the goal is not to compete, but rather to compliment. They want to be good neighbors and so I learned they shopped the block and made a real effort not to duplicate brands that their neighbors already had going for them. Hearing this made me want to hug these ladies! Plus, it means that I can find something at Flair that I won’t find somewhere else on the block. Something unique which rocked my world would be their hours of operation. 10am until 8pm daily. Yup. Daily. So if I decide midweek that I need a gift for a coworker tomorrow, I can grab dinner and head over after(when I likely remember). I won’t feel rushed and I won’t have to worry about racing over because their doors are open until 8pm. They have an April and May Vino Van Gogh scheduled to get the ball rolling, but these talented women may be incorporating some other classes over the months to come. I can’t wait! They’ve really thought of it all and have a genuine way of interacting with their clients. I’m a huge fan! I wish them tons of success as Flair grows and makes an impactful splash on 3rd!
