I have been coming here for years it’s that friendly neighborhood shop my 4 kids feel right at home weather it an eye brow wax or a hair cut for the kids and color to hide my gray I would only go to Walter and his girls they are the best!!!

Can I just tell you how ECSTATIC I am that this place exists so close to our home? We took our 17 month old here for a itty bitty trim to keep his adorable curls out of his face without making him look a la Richard Marx. Walter took us in and was WONDERFUL. My husband went there the week after and got his hair cut and had a great experience as well. I am just working up the courage to get my hair cut and will update once I get there. They are open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK PEOPLE… SO VERY RARE! They are CRAZY REASONABLE on prices too. I do not have high maintenance hair and I want a quality cut but think it CRAZY DUMB to pay 50 bucks to cut off some dead skin cells (yes I said it). We have only had experience with Walter but Man, I am VERY HAPPY to have this place!!!

I rely on Unilocal often and always think to myself, «Hm, I should really leave reviews, contribute to the community, etc.» And then I go eat a sandwich, failing to follow through. But my experience at Flip recently was so positive that I had to push aside my apathy and get on here. I’d been a couple times before by myself, always with excellent results. On the recommendation of another mom, I decided to try Flip for my son’s first haircut. He can be a difficult kid… mean-​mugging at best and all out stranger-​danger-​meltdowns at worst. Our stylist Megan (I think?) was so friendly and warm that she was able to cut my son’s hair without a single sniffle from the kid. In fact, she cut my son’s, my husband’s, and my hair in under an hour… for about $ 20! You’d be hard-​pressed to find a better deal anywhere. Highly recommended!

This place is great for kids’ cuts. We were sad when the dedicated kids’ salon closed in the Commons, but this place has worked out very well for us. Everyone there is super nice and all of the stylists we have had have been amazingly patient and kind with my two year old. Their prices are super reasonable. I am glad we found this place!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Called ahead to schedule an appointment even though it wasn’t necessary. Went in early and even took in a picture. The stylist cut my hair in less than 10 minutes which was great, but it looked nothing like the picture! It took me over 4 years to grow out my hair and all of that was gone in 10 minutes. She cut like 5 inches more than she was supposed to and now I feel horrible. I am honestly so disappointed with my experience here that I will be telling ANYONE that asks about my opinion.
I will never come back here even if they pay me.

We read about Flip Family Hair Care in a magazine somewhere. What we read was what brought us in, and then Megan is who keeps us going back there. She couldn’t be nicer, she listens to whatever you want to tell her, and she asks the right follow-​up questions. Her work on hair is excellent, and the prices are more than fair. The waiting room is simple and nice, and we have been taken in early for appointments if no one else was currently in the chair. Flip also carries various products of high quality if you’re into buying those extras for hair and scalp. Flip is basically across from the entry to Delnor Community Hospital Complex on Keslinger Road in Geneva.

My regular stylist had a baby, so my daughter recommended Flip to me. Went to see Walter and couldn’t be happier with my cut! He is a great listener and very thourough, and gave me exactly what I wanted. He even gave me a free sample of the product he used to make my hair soft and super shiny. Reasonable prices, small family owned business with comfortable atmosphere. I just found my new salon.

I go to Flip every time I need my hair done and never have a bad experience from cuts to color the staff is super friendly and helpful. When I go in to get my hair done I feel more like I am visiting friends than at a hair appointment. They have my business for life!

I recently had a cut/​color done at Flip Family Hair Care. I probably would have given another star had my appointment not started 35 minutes late. Aside from the late start, my stylist was very friendly and the price was very reasonable ($ 55 cut/​color). Overall, I left happy.

What a friendly bunch of people work here! I had Walter cut my hair, after a consultation (I hadn’t had a haircut in over 2 years) we decided on a length and style and he went to work. I’m very pleased with the result, and have had many compliments on my haircut.
The haircut price was very reasonsable ($ 11 for an adult) and the place is very attractive, spacious and home-​like, but still professional. Looks like they have a lot of hair products on sale, and I understand at a decent discount off of suggested retail prices. Plenty of convenient parking, and hours to suit most anyone’s schedule. I have found my new barber shop, and will be back regularly.
