T F Boonies

Been waiting to try a burger here for a long time. Finished a round of golf and got the chance yesterday. Good burger, simple, tasty and pretty big. Slaw and fries were really good too. Will stop again.

I thought this was a really pleasant place to have a beer.
The front of the establishment deserves an A for its aesthetic (see photo).
T F Boonie’s is certainly not a hoppin’ singles place, but it’s a nice place to go hang out with the family or friends from the community and have a beer on the back patio overlooking the golf course and pond. You can enjoy the scenery and watch the golfers finish up their games. It also seems like it would be a great place to hold an event.
Only two minor issues, the outside tables were a bit sticky. Think they just needed a wipe-​down and the beers didn’t have good heads. Not sure if this was due to the glass or the manner of pouring.
You’d think with Geneva having the Fox River, there would be a lot of restaurants/​bars with patios along the river, but not so. There are very few. and this trip back, I noticed another had closed. So, T F Boonie’s is at least one place where you can sit and have a view of the pond and some greenery on a hot summer day.

Yuck! How is this a family place? We had not been in a while but decided to give her another chance. What happened to the games for the kids? This kept them happy while the adults ate. The outside is lovely and inside is nice… The strawberry margarita that I ordered was disgusting as the waitress just poured strawberry syrup into it bc she did not have what was needed to make it correctly plus the food is worse than it was a year ago. Waitress was pleasant but please… work on this place! It’s so close to where we live and it’s such a shame that they cannot make a burger joint better tasting or more family friendly. Not returning until they revamp the food!

Middle of nowhere, perfect for DUI’s on the way home, especially with the 21^st birthday party that was going on while we were there.
Horrible service. Annoying clientele. Will not be returning.

Such a strange place. Sitting on a golf course. Country bar with techno music.
The bartenders were TERRIBLE! It took forever to get drinks but then they didn’t have what was advertised and he walked away and let someone else take over.
Not a place I would ever return to!
