We have dined at this restaurant many times and have always been treated by very courteous people and the food is very delicious. Whether I feel like the vineyard salad or the tasty fish and chips, everything I have had so far has been very satisfactory. A couple of weeks ago we went in on a Friday night with some friends. Our friend had her tights torn from a nail sticking out of the chair. As soon as the waitress noticed there was a problem, she took care of it. She told her boss and they immediately reimbursed her for the cost of the tights and then handed her a $ 25. gift certificate to use at another time. We were all very impressed with the wonderful Customer Service. We will eat at this restaurant very often because of the good food, great customer service. Once you walk in their is a distinct odor and bugs flying around the ceiling fan. Remind you it is December and bugs flying around like its July. Service was adequate for only three customers in the restaurant at 2:00pm. It is nicely decorated with poinsettias and playing Christmas music in the background. Thumbs up for their large selection of beer including all 3 types of Chimay.

What a pleasant surprise it was to find this place! We were on a wine tour around Seneca Lake and had booked a room at the Microtel for a one night stay. I purposely limited my eating during the day because I was looking forward to dining out so I was extremely hungry by the time we found this place based on the recommendation of a local. The wait was a little more than an hour on a Saturday around 8:00. This was acceptable because the atmosphere was nice(pub-like). The awesome selection of craft beers kept me occupied just fine. Both beers I had were from the Troegs brewery. I liked Troeganator the best. As an appetizer we both ordered the Beer and Cheddar Soup, which was delicious. For entrees we both got the Beef and Brew Stew which was even more delicious. Seriously I can still taste it and my mouth is watering thinking about. Probably the best beef stew I have ever had. Delicious biscuits too. If you’re ever in Geneva I urge you to give this place a try!

Upon arrival, we knew we wanted the chicken wings. They did not disappoint. I definitely recommended the Cajun flavor. However good the food was, it did not make up for the terrible service we received. The woman who we figured would be serving us from behind the bar was also taking tables all over the restaurant. She complained of having a 10-top, and having previously worked in the industry, I knew we were in trouble. After the first beer and the food were given to us, she seemed to have vanished. She popped by to ask how our food was, and I told her no celery came with my wings, as the menu stated it would, and that i’d like another beer. She then vanished again. My celery finally came out when I had one wing left, and I never got that second beer. In conclusion, bartenders should do just that — tend bar. They should not take tables that are in different parts of the restaurant. There is nothing worse than terrible service.

Since beef was in restaurant name we had to try the beef. Coming from buffalo we had to see if it let our expectations. Boy it didn’t disappoint. The beef was tender and with my bbq beef the new didn’t take over the sandwich. Another nice thing is they toasted the roll which gave it a different texture. This place has a great ambiance and vibe. Lots of people here for a Monday. If you like beef you will have many choices hence the other part of restaurant name. If ever back on Geneva we will be back.
