Vonnie’s Boat House Bar

Biker bar but it’s just our kinda thing! Loud music, large groups of friends, fun atmosphere. We’re out-​of-​towners but we’d definitely stop again!

Vonnie’s has unbelievable wings. Definitely the best in the area. Great place to grab a beer with locals on the side of Seneca Lake. Always a friendly face behind the boat-​shaped bar. Great, large deck out front.

I needed a place to watch some football and grab a beer while I was in town for a wedding. I found everything I was looking for and more at Vonnie’s. Everyone in the place was friendly and inviting, it was clean, the beer selection was excellent and the burger I had hit the spot. I will go out of my way to swing by Vonnie’s in the future.

I find myself impressed with Vonnies, not because they’re notably good, but just because they actually accomplish a perfectly achievable goal: be decent small bar with basic bar foods.
I guess I’m a big city snob, because I like my small town bars to have a few drinkable beers, and a couple decent burgers and fried snacky things. Surprisingly, this is too much to ask from most bars in the area.
But hey, Vonnie’s pulls it off. Fried cauliflower? Fried mac-​n-​cheese? Friedilicious!
The fact that the place seems charming yet not quite divey, has less run-​down pool and darts is just a bonus.
So keep it up, Vonnie’s. I hope some day to downgrade you to three stars because the rest of the damn area has gotten their S#!t together.

Great dive spot! We go for trivia on Thursdays and it’s a blast. The food we got was ok (chicken sandwich with fries) but can’t beat their cheap beer! Great crowd too :)

Look, it is what it is. Fried everything, picnic tables, jukebox, beers, picnic tables outside. What could be bad?
