Stopped for a donut and more java, the éclair was top quality as well as the jo… took a star off because of the crappy to go lids for the coffee. Nice little chain headquartered out of Tulsa… used to frequent one in Angleton and El Campo…

I didn’t expect a high class donut shop when I drove in. But I at least expected decent donuts. They received a star because their glazed donuts were pretty good. I ordered a dozen donuts: 4 glazed, 8 sprinkles, and 4 chocolate, 4 gluten free donuts, and 3 breakfast tacos, The frosting for the sprinkles looked like it was cake frosting with sprinkles thrown on top. Uh, what? They were stuck together and when pulled out of the box, the donuts came out with either frosting on both sides or none at all. Their gluten free donuts are horrendous. It’s great that they provided the option, but seriously, taste test it before you serve it! They were hard as rocks, dry as dirt, and had absolutely no flavor. I was told they were glazed, but they were not. They had some sugar stuff on it that even on its own didn’t have any flavor. It’s sugar! How do you drain the flavor from that? I cook gluten free daily and thought it would be nice to have a reprieve for breakfast, but nope! Now, the tacos. They’re not tacos. They’re burritos. And definitely not worth the money. I ordered two of the bacon, potato, egg, and cheese and one sausage, egg, and cheese. I got bacon and egg, but no potatoes or cheese. And I got sausage and egg with some kind of sweetness, but no cheese. One taco, I had two strips of bacon. And the other had half a strip. Very inconsistent considering they’re pre-made, which shouldn’t be the case. I couldn’t even check the tacos because of how she packaged everything. Plus I got overcharged by $ 2. Which I didn’t find out until I got home. So basically, I paid almost $ 20 for 4 decent glazed donuts and a bunch of garbage. Awesome sauce. Skip this place and find somewhere else to go.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Best donuts. Nicest staff. And ahh– mazing sausage and cheese kolaches. Soft bready bread surrounding sausage and cheese. I am constantly craving their amazing breakfast! I love the donut holes as well. And they always have seasonal and new donut flavors to try. Love love love. Thank you daylight for bringing amazing donuts and kolaches to Georgetown all these years! You rock!!!

For nearly a year I had frequented this donut shop and really enjoyed the good taste of the twisters and the friendliness of the little Asian lady who works there. However, today I went to pick up some twisters and and found only four regular twists and two chocolate covered ones left. I Immediately ordered all of the twisters to go and was having a friendly chat with one of the other customers when the little Asian lady came up to the lady who was in the process of serving me and took one of the regular twisters and gave it to a customer in the drive-through window. I asked her why she did that and all she did was smile and gave no answer and the lady who who was serving me only shrugged her shoulders. As much as I enjoyed their donuts I told them they wouldn’t get my business any longer if that’s the way they serve regular customers. Good service and good treatment are just as important as a good product and my donut business will be with other shops in the area. It might seem like a picky subject, but what happened today was totally uncalled for. I would not recommend this shop because of the apparent lack of concern for the way I was treated.

i used to go here all the time last year, when it was just the asian lady working. Thats when i loved it because she always had a big smile and would give me a little extra donut holes or something. Now she has a bunch of help and i don’t see her as much so the experience has changed.

Kolaches are ok, but the donuts are mediocre at best; they tasted fairly burnt. Stay away from the green frosting.

My family and I get donuts here when we are in town and can’t get to Round Rock for Round Rock donuts. Good variety and not busy.

You can’t get a better donut in Georgetown than you will find at Daylight on Austin Ave. Always fresh, always friendly service.

There are a plethora of donut shops in Georgetown and I have been to many. I am a regular frequenter of this location and the food is always consistent. Second, I’ve been to the second Daylight donuts off Williams Drive, and it is nowhere close to being as good as this place. This place has my all-time favorite apple fritters — they rock, not too sweet and packed with a big apple punch. Also, I’m a big fan of the jalapeño kolaches because they are packed with lots of spicy jalapeño and the bread is soft and chewy. Props to this donut shop.
