I really loved the atmosphere here, but the strawberries my mom and I bought were small and covered in bruises. I know what fresh produce is like, but bruised fruit?

Tons of fun stuff to keep kids busy for hours. Not too crowded on a Friday afternoon. Worth the drive down from Cincy. Everything is pretty unsupervised which I kinda like.

What fun! Fridays are our typical day off and we look for something fun to do together. Today we headed out to Georgetown and Evans Orchard. The drive out to Evans from Lexington is beautiful. Farms, beautiful horses and the turning of leaves were all around us. It set the perfect mood for the short drive and relaxing time we were about to have. As we pulled up there were families very where enjoying the pumpkins, trampoline, hay rides and delicious food. We spent some time checking out the store first. Lots of cool things to check out and buy; preserves, dip mixes, cider, snacks and even sandwiches. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We went back outside and ended up picking a 20 lb pumpkin and 6 odd gourds to decorate our home. There were plenty to choose from even though we arrived a couple hours before closing time. Back on the inside we picked out some homemade fudge(peanut butter/chocolate and Heath toffee) a cup of hot cider and a fried Apple pie with ice cream. Yummy! The cider was delicious and the fried pie was AMAZING! The extra $ 0.50 for the vanilla ice cream was so worth it! If you want to spend a fun & enjoying afternoon with your significant other or family, this is a must visit place for you. Great environment and fun for all.

We love the orchard in the fall!!! Fall Fun at its finest here! The kids love all the fun things to do. Hay castle, giant slides, swings, and so much more! You can pick apples and pumpkins and enjoy the hay ride! This is really a great place to spend the day with the family for some real outdoor fun away from all electronics! It is not over priced which I love! The store is adorable and has all kinds of items for sale from holiday décor items, fresh veggies and fruit, apple cider and FUDGE! My husband loves their fudge, especially the red velvet fudge. That is his favorite! The fried Apple pies are oh my goodness beyond yummy!!! They have a little grill café that you can get hamburgers and basic cookout food so if anyone needs a snack that is an option to eat! Whenever we go the line is so long we try to get everyone fed prior to coming. Enjoy!

What a hidden gem! I went to a Unilocal event here and had a great time. It’s a great place to take kids, but fun for adults too. From a distance I didn’t think the play area looked like much, but inside it looks much more fun and is! The large bouncy thing and slides are awesome even for adults. There’s also a petting zoo with goats, pigs, alpacas, and other cute fuzzy animals. They also have a country store with farm produce and odds and ends. Kind of like a mom and pop Cracker Barrel. I loaded up on a variety of 4 for $ 1 peppers. Their homemade fudge and apple pies are a good buy too. I did not pick apples, but I plan to come back and do that. There’s so much to do here!

Thanks Unilocal for the event today me and my family had a wonderful time. This place has a lot of things for the kids to do and the adults have a little fun too. We had a great time being like children again I never thought I would have been jumping on a big blob that was fun. We drove from Cincinnati for this farm and it was worth it lots of things to see and do they have weddings there and birthday parties. They have a store were they make fudge and all kinds of stuff. Thanks again.

I had a wonderful evening with my son at this beautiful farm! It’s amazing that it’s only a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The people were so helpful and friendly and made me feel so welcome. The immaculate shop is where you will find all kinds of delicious treats. I highly recommend a doughnut or fried apple pie… or both! The children’s play area is gigantic with the coolest activities. Not your«run of the mill» play area. There is also little barnyard with some very friendly farm animals. Anyone who is looking to have a farm style wedding needs to seriously consider their new event barn. It’s beautiful! I will definitely be back to take advantage of their upcoming apple season.

Great Event ! I love supporting our local farmers and diversification to meet the new world challenges! This was once a tobacco farm and now it’s a pumpkin/apple and fun farm, with starts of strawberries, blueberries and an event barn! This is every kids dream come true!

Great little place with a lot to offer. If you like to pick your own fruit and veggies from apples, blueberries, strawberries, various others offering. They also have homemade pies, and fudge in a relaxed atmosphere this is the place for you. They have a steak sandwiches, hotdogs ect and a covered area to eat and stay dry or out of the sun. It’s a Great place for the kids as well. They have slides, hayrides, 2 inflatable jump and bounce areas and a hay castle. All the staff were very nice and always said hello. The country store has a little bit of everything from t-shirts to wooden initials. The apple cider donuts rock and I hear the blueberry are quite good as well. They are seasonal so In the fall they will have pumpkin donuts. The fried apple pies and the peach and orange slush are also a must try. They just added a wedding barn that is quite nice and has air conditioned rooms for the wedding parties to get ready in. All in all a very nice place with nice people close to home in Georgetown out Newtown pike off I-75. Check it out!

Very affordable day of fun for my sun. It costs $ 8 for a child to get into the play area which involves a trampoline pillow, big slide, swings, water play thing, tractor race, hay bail fort, hill with ropes, and some more little play areas. The kid’s meal cost $ 4-$ 5 if I remember correctly. The food there is just okay but it’s affordable. If you get a burger I recommend getting the beer cheese addition as it improves it a lot. Waters and Ale 8 are $ 1 so there are cheap drinks available. All of the staff members were very nice and friendly. They have pumpkins and apples you can pick. There’s a petting zoo kind of area as well. There’s live music and face painting as well. The hayride is a waste of money. Definitely don’t do that. Now where you might end up dropping a lot of money is in the store. Some items are a bit expensive or at least I think $ 4.50 for 6 little donuts is. The apple cider, apple dumplings, fried applie pie, cider slushie(it’s good!), beer cheese and country ham are all hard to resist. I had never heard of this place but the locals must all know about it because it was packed the day I went! I recommend Sundays before the church crowd arrives.

Goodness dress warm! Great cider and venue but it was so cold the day we went!!! Come ready to walk as you pet the animals, drink cider, eat a sandwich, or enjoy the best fudge ever! You can get a whole variety of pumpkins or gourds.

Had an absolutely delightful time here on the first full day of Autumn! I cannot think of anything better to do to kick-start fall than wander around a pumpkin patch/orchard/corn maze on a beautiful sunny day. And that’s exactly what we did. My husband and I visited Evans Orchard last week to explore and get a taste of fall. The lack of crowds(it being the middle of the week) was delightful. We took our time wandering through the store(filled with apples, caramel apples, pumpkin spice donuts, local honey, jams and sauces, candy, stuffed animals, and other such seasonal trinkets for the home), admiring the expansive orchard(soooo many trees and different types of apples to pick from!), walking through the pumpkin patches(many were picked, but many good ones were still available), petting the sweet animals(alpacas and goats and rabbits, oh my!), observing the children’s play area(with a huge jungle gym, rolling tube things, places to sit, and a jumpy thing… just to name a few), and getting lost in the corn maze — which actually wasn’t so bad for a little corn maze. You can pick your own apples/pumpkins/strawberries/etc.(seasonally), which makes for a great fall experience. There’s also a café with apple foods, burgers, etc. I liked Evans sooo much better than some of the places I’ve visited in the past, which just has overpriced attractions for kids and pumpkins already picked. Evans is the real deal. We left that day armed with apple cider donut holes, honey, small pumpkins, and a bale of hay, which currently sits outside our front door, adorned with pumpkins. I’m hoping we can go back a couple more times this year before the season is over. Ohhh Autumn, how I love this time of year.

I was in Georgetown today and heard the call of «the pie». Once again, an orchard where I barely notice the fruits and veggies. It’s all about the pie. While Evans is way out of the way, I decided, since I was nearby, to feed the pie need. A perfect peach pie! I couldn’t wait to get home to eat a slice. The rest of the pie, I slilce, and freeze in plastic bags for when I hear the call, which will probably come sooner than later.

Love Evans. Have great cider. And fudge. And Apple cider donuts are awesome!!! The kids can spend all day climbing hay bail mountains. We have spent many many afternoons there on tractor rides and hanging out at the petting zoo. People who work there are always nice.

It had been years since my last and only«you pick strawberries» experience. When I snuck a strawberry while picking, it immediately reminded me of my grandmother and the one time that she took me and my cousins to an orchard to pick strawberries that made the pie… OMG, I must stop and get to the orchard experience. It is about a 30 minute drive from Lexington, if you use the GSP, the people in the house in front of the orchard might get mad if you pull into their driveway that the directions point you into… hence the sign in their front yard. Keep going a bit and then pull into the road that runs behind the house. Inside there is a café and a store that sells random orchard related things. Apple cider donut holes was among the the souvenirs that I bought. If you’re not in the mood to pick your own, you’re in luck because they also sell strawberries inside. Beautiful, colorful hanging baskets of flowers at $ 30 each, I will go back for a few of those that haven’t left my memory since the few days that have passed. It is definitely worth the drive out. But if your heart is set on the strawberries, I would recommend that you call to inquire about the availability because I have heard that they run out on the weekends.

A great place for pick-your-own apples and pears! They have some already picked if you prefer. They also have a huge play area for kids, a stand to get burgers and one for kettle corn. They have a huge selection of pumpkins and gourds, some home baked goods and fresh cider. A wonderful place to spend a little time on a fall afternoon.

I was very impressed with Evans Orchard. The kids’ play area was great and included big, two-story slides, a track for kids to ride miniature tractors, a big dirt pile to climb, tires to stand in and race, in addition to more typical play area features like swings. Restrooms were clean and well-maintained. The orchard itself was a wonderful place to spend a crisp, early fall afternoon picking apples and pears. It was very well organized. We were provided a map of the orchard telling us what was where, and the individual rows of fruit trees were marked with yellow flags indicating which varieties were ripe for picking. The staff that we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful and seemed to truly enhance the customer’s experience. Two thumbs up for a fun family day.
