La Belle Nails

This place does not even get one star from me. Today was my second time going and will definitely be my last. I originally went there a few weeks ago and got acrylic nails with gel polish and the polish was basically streaky and see thru. I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy and ask for an extra layer of polish the next time. Well, I did that today and my fingers are just globs of polished, very uneven and so thick. Not cute and not comfortable. It only gets worse. At the beginning I noticed one finger was nearly shaped into an oval even though the other 9 nails were square, and one finger was so crooked I honestly thought it was a joke or he wasn’t finished. I couldn’t believe it so I contemplating leaving right then because I couldn’t imagine how much worse it could get. He fixed those two and then I had to have him fix another nail again because one of my thumb nails was like 5 mm longer than the other, no joke. After polishing my nails and I have them under the light the lady next to me also had to make a comment stating no one even trimmed, filed, or buffed her nails before putting her gel color on. So he obviously had to restart that as well. After my nails were complete I came to realize I wouldn’t allow these people to ever touch my hands again. I’ll suffer through the holidays with my globby nails until I can have someone else fix them. Hopefully a little less expensive as well!

I went in last Saturday to get a gel manicure. I had never been to this location before and read good reviews so though I would give it a try since I work in Georgetown.
I got there and waited about 15 minutes and then got sat, the tech looked as though he couldn’t be older then 18 years old but I didn’t say anything. We start with the manicure and he starts cutting my cuticles so far down they started to bleed. I had had this happen before but never had someone continue until I had to ask him to stop.
He completed the gel manicure and it didn’t look great but I was in a hurry so I left. After getting home I looked and there were little bubbles all over every single nail. I didn’t think it was a huge issue until 3 days later they start to chip. I didn’t pay $ 40 for my manicure, that is supposed to last 14 – 20 day mind you, to chip after less than a week.
I called today to see if they would be able to repair them, and they tell me to come on in free of charge.
They didn’t have the color I got before so I chose another, the tech I got told me there was nothing wrong with my nails and I didn’t need them fixed. He went ahead and did the redo but wasn’t gentle at all and was very rude to me. When I get up to leave I hand the tech $ 10 and proceed to start out the door. He calls in from of everyone «Hey Lady you need to pay for that» considering I was under the impression that it was covered under the original price I paid, I was mortified.
He then charged me $ 20 for the repair, so I am now out $ 60 for a sub par gel manicure. Needless to say I will be returning to my old salon in Lexington and will NEVER visit La Belle again.

Very convenient! I went with a friend we did not have to wait at all. Sterile tools. Nice clean décor. We both had manicures with gel polish. They guaranteed polish for 2 weeks, mine lasted for 4! Very professional. Nails looked incredible!

If you visit, ask for Lei (pronounced lie). His attention to detail is worth waiting if you needed. I’ve visited twice before my review to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.
The entire staff is friendly. It’s clean. I was there during their shut down process and they clean EVERYTHING!
Best thing is their chairs are in great condition. No lumpy, sagging, non working chairs.
Prices are similar to all the other salons.
They are extremely busy on the weekends so plan ahead and they do take appts.

This place was amazing. The only thing I wish they did differently was offer a price list (either hanging or near the waiting area). I was expecting my total to be near $ 50 (average pedi in the area is $ 25) but it was actually $ 75. My husband said it was worth every penny, but I probably should have asked for my own piece of mind. My nails turned out perfectly, the massage was great.

Easy to walk in and get an appointment. I’ve had a regular manicure and gel manicure and never had an issue. Pedicure is the best I have ever had!

I love this salon because the staff is friendly but not intrusive. It is always very clean and that is a huge plus for me. There are no harsh smells like in other nail salons. All the music played is soothing. I feel I am getting to know the staff and it makes me feel at home.

Went here today to get simple acrylics done, but when walking inside the people were not so welcoming. As I picked my color and sat down, I asked the man doing my nails that I would like the shape of my nails to be pointy. He said he couldn’t do this and his reason for this was, «I don’t like doing those kind of nails». This upset me because recently I’ve been getting my nails done like this and I’ve really grown to love my nails that shape. However, I was polite and said alright and I would get my nails shaped square like he said he wanted to do. So I went with it. After multiple times of him making fun of my nails and saying he just doesn’t like doing nails like that, I began to get irritated. Still I never was rude to the man. When he was working on my nails, he did them very quickly like he was in a rush and had better things to do. After finishing my nails, the result was exactly what I expected it would be like. My nails were poorly done, and one nail he even cut some off of when working on it, and didn’t go back to even fix it…
The man that did my nails wasn’t the only one in the store that acted this sort of way. When I came in I came with my friend, and all she wanted was a simple manicure. After another man who worked on her nails, first removed her finger nail polish she had still on, and then left her there while he went and worked on a new customer who has walked in after us. My friend waited an hour, and by this time she just asked to her her nails painted and that was all.
I will never be going back to this nail salon again because of this experience I had there today. Never have I been so disrespected when getting my nails done. If looking for a good nail salon with people that care about the customers, I suggest not coming here.

I had a pedicure and it was a slice of luxury. A previous reviewer dubbed him «dad», but whoever he is, he has magical hands. Fabulous leg/​foot massage. I may not opt for the robo-​chair back massage next time because it distracted my zen foot experience.
I asked for a special nail art look and it turned out great.
Wish I could do this every week.

I have no complaints, I only use these services being a mail to take care of the health of my feet, and the staff if very friendly and they offer that pickle, they give you water to drink, they even stayed a little after close to do a last minute nail service for my friend. I have no complaints, and highly recommend you give this place a try! They offer a cash payment incentive program which is nice. By the way the standard pedicure is a bit more then the competing places, but they give you the mid level treatment which includes like a 16 minute foot message. I believe there is a lower level, so I do believe its just a little more then some places, but worth the try if your okay with that if you think the extras and cleanliness is worth it, I do.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by someone in the family (this is a family run business) they have great choices of colors and services.
I had a gel mani and jealously watched as «dad» gave a young lady a fabulous pedi with a 16 min massage! Next time it will be me :))
And most important la belle is spotless everywhere! And they unwrap new utensils for each person.
This is new place for all my nail needs!
