Not open anymore. Had real surprise when I walked in to the same sigh but completely different restaurant. Just an FYI to anyone looking for the PAR97

This review is mostly for the golf. Went in last week with a friend to try this place out. The simulators are fun and overall i though they were accurate with respect to woods, irons, and chip shots. Where things get dicey are shots out of the sand and putting. The sand shots are not accurate at all. Meaning you can’t take your real stance and you can’t open the face. If you do you hit it into the ceiling. You basically need to treat it like a chip shot. As for putting — much better than expected but still a lacking a bit on accuracy. Also make sure you bring your own balls. Being able to play a lot of courses is great. Plus the monitor will tell you fun facts like swing speed, ball speed, etc. It will take you an hour per person to play 18(and that factors in a 10 minute warm up on the virtual range). I think the price is high for the weekends. I think it should be about 10% cheaper. Definitely do not opt for the larger screen. It did not seem to add anything to the experience so not worth the added cost. Make a tee time for the weekends, it was surprisingly busy when we went. Also, when setting up your round opt for 3-putt Max and gimmies inside of 3 feet. It will make it a more realistic experience. Overall it was a nice winter supplement for golf. If you are an avid golfer and just want to keep your swing fresh then this is a good solution. I’ll definitely be back. Briefly on the food and drinks. Beer selection kind of sucked — but who really cares. We ordered wings and fries and trey tasted fine. Service all around was a little slow though.

I wish it was possible to leave a zero star review. This place has changed hands so many times in the last few years that I thought I would give it a shot again. I went a couple weeks ago and had high hopes, the bartender recommended the chicken Parmesan sandwich which wasn’t bad. After this I decided to try it again. The old bartender from pub 97, the one that makes you feel like your bothering him by eating there is behind the bar. He must be related to the owners because there is no way he is the best option to tend bar. He has such an attitude and cares more about talking to his buddies then talking to me. I ordered the wing appetizer and a sandwich, I ordered the wings because the guy a few seats down(his buddies) got them and they looked great, his plate had carrots, celery, six wings and blue cheese dressing to dip. My wings were 5 wings on a plate and looked like I was on a hidden camera show. I asked if carrots, celery and blue cheese were extra. He said«why do you want some» in his best sarcastic voice. I had to ask to fill my drink twice which is fine but he doesn’t need to roll his eyes when I ask. I will not go back, it’s too bad because I was really hoping they would be great. It’s a great location for locals, but they need better bartenders. The servers did seem nice and polite. Trust the reviews.

Thank you all at Par 97 for making our recent gathering a success. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. Pizza was perfect. No canned mushrooms or peppers and the crust was crisp as it should be. I hold firm to my previous review but added a star for your ability to deal with a bunch of old friends who hadn’t seen each other for many years when you had another big event scheduled for the evening.

Wow, I’m not sure how this place is still in business. Unless you’re sitting at the bar, expect to feel like you’re sitting in an empty cavern. Nobody is here most weeknights. And virtually nobody is playing golf(because once you play it once, you understand it was their intention for this to be a big virtual golf attraction — not with this quality!). The food is completely mediocre and despite the lack of business, feels like it takes forever to come out of the kitchen. Unless you’re ordering a pizza, it tastes like it was frozen. The burgers are overdone and not at all appetizing. I waited nearly a half hour for a meal one night — and there were only about 10 other people in the place. Weird. So if you’re not coming here for the food, and you’re not coming here for the golf, why are you coming here? I don’t have a clue. There’s no shortage of places to get a beer within 5 miles of here, so I’d go to one of them(even their sister place, Pub 97, up the road, which serves the same overdone, bland burgers — but at least they have«97» of them!!).

Went there on a Friday night to play some golf. There were not many people in the bar and a friend and I were the only ones playing golf. One server working. let’s just say they made us wait for ever for our food and only came back once for a drink refill. Ordered two small pizzas and waited at least a half hour to be told AFTERHAVINGTOASK its gonna going to be another ten mins. Needless to say two sodas, one beer two small pizzas, and 9 Holes was $ 120. They kept us waiting so they could run up the time spent golfing. Food was decent, golf was horrible. H. D golf… hahahaha… there was a reason nobody else was golfing. was a first and last time for me. Lower your rates for golf. Your a pretend golf course. Your not paying a crew to maintain the greens and fairways.

Went here for the pats game. Plenty of tv’s which was nice. They have a good beer selection. Not a great location to drive from after having a couple drinks. The prices are decent. Food is not good. I didn’t try the pizza so I can’t speak on that. The nachos and the wings I ordered were kinda cold nothing to write home about. The onion rings were ok.

A great spot in Georgetown if you’re looking for food, drinks, and something casual. They have gotten back to basics with pizza and wings, and it seems to be working. The pizza crust is just right and the options are tremendous! The owning family is known for its pizza and burgers at nearby Pub 97 in Groveland, so I’m happy to see the pizza selection at this location. Not trying to be too fancy, just doing the basics just right. The fiery chicken(#11) with blue cheese and tomato/onion with chicken was excellent, but my favorite was the Island Chicken(#79) with the jerk chicken, pineapple, and pepper jack cheese. Really delicious. Good beer selection, plenty of parking, and lots of space. The golf simulators are the big draw in the winter, and they are incredibly realistic! I can see this being a great place for a bachelor party or bday.

I’ve been here 3 – 4 times since they opened. Their wings are good, the rest of the food menu is lousy. The french dip sandwich was absolutely disgusting but the bartender comp’d me for it when I said something. Overall I have found the service to be inconsistent. I hope they survive but I don’t see how they can with this niche indoor golf business model. I like to golf but would rather be outside with the exception being seasonal in March and April. A lot of wasted space and equipment sitting and not generating revenue in my opinion.

Don’t be deceived by the cars in the lot! They are there to practice their golf swing and most certainly NOT eat here!!! I have been here 4 times since it opened. January, twice in February, and March. I was wishing and hoping it was just«growing pains»… It is awful. Where do I begin? Service is just about as awful as their restaurant down the road(Pub 97) if not worse. I have come to the conclusion they just have no clue about what being in a «service» industry means. Not even remotely. Their food is inedible. One trip I ordered the wings in two different flavors, disgusting, cold and the parmesan-oregano(which was dry rub) was overseasoned to the point I couldn’t eat them and the«buffalo» wings were just wings without any heat or flavor whatsoever. Next trip was for breakfast. My scrambled eggs were bordering on runny barely edible and the homefries tasted like they were out of a frozen bag. My son’s omelet was NOTCOOKEDINSIDE! Then, to make matters worse, the waitress was no where to be found so I was DONE with my breakfast and my son hadn’t eaten one bite of anything but toast. When I finally found her, they didn’t give me a hard time about taking it off the bill, but they DID charge me for the toast(!!!) Seriously! Third time I was by myself and sat at the bar(the only person) and had to wait for a drink, then the steak«bomb» I ordered was dry and flavorless and I am unsure what made it a «bomb» because there was barely anything but bun and dried out steak. Then we move to atmosphere. They did nothing to fix the boxed in, institutional feel of this location as it has been for the past 2 restaurants that I know of(maybe longer), and in my opinion have made it worse. The closed in feeling has been added to by their golf simulator rooms which provide a constant«thwack» «thwack» «thwack» every two seconds as you are sitting there trying to eat your inedible food. The«thwack» cannot be escaped no matter where in the place you sit. The bathrooms remain unfixed. If you are a golf player and looking for a place to practice while the snow is on the ground, have at it, but I wouldn’t suggest eating the food and I certainly do not recommend it for anyone looking to do anything but that.
