Pizza Palace

The customer service from their waitresses are excellent. The food is delicious. The owner has the worst customer service. If u didn’t die down five minutes unpacking my laptop and setting up my documents I would’ve left. I ordered a combo, which was great. I noticed that they had a special for a crab cake sandwich. I asked the waitress to ask if I could just purchase the crab cake. The owner said in a loud voice, «no you can’t, hat’s like going to the outlets and asking for a better deal». That was uncalled for and belligerent. He went on to talk to another patron that he sat down with and continued to discuss what u asked. The owner stated «oh yeah, but the customer is always right», in a sarcastic tone. He and the patron continued to laugh about. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I should’ve have noticed when I walked through the door and the owner was sitting right at the table, but elected not to greet me. You could count the number of people that were there dinning. The owner did not greet me with a «hello, how are you, or how can I help you». Instead I got a blank stare. A state that made me confused as to if I was in the right place. If it wasn’t for the waitresses this business would get no stars. The owner needs a business etiquette class.

Had lunch there noticed how dirty salt pepper shakers were creeped out slow service hot in there!

While I primarily stick to their Meatball sub, I can say that it is extremely delicious. I get it at least 1x a week and I am never disappointed. Moved down here from New Castle and it’s been one of the best i have had in Sussex.
Their Lamb gyro was surprisingly good. They REALLY pack in a lot of meat which is good but there is not enough vegetables in it so it comes off dry. Their Taziki was tasty, more creamy than I am used to but is better than the 2 I have had in Rehoboth.

I admit that the pizza is not great — a bit too cheesy for my tomato pie palate, but it was no worse than Okay.
And, the service was fine. Sarah was friendly, helpful, and moving as fast as she could.
On the road between Philly and Newport News, Georgetown is a natural watering hole to get out, stretch, and have a small bite to tide you over until reaching your destination. While I would love to see a better joint on the strip, the population and vagabond traffic is not deep enough to attract a real serious alternative.
So, Pizza Palace gets the nod.

I come here for lunch all the time and the staff is always so nice. I came for dinner with family after the football game and totally opposite. If the sign says you close at 11 that doesn’t mean you shut your grill down at 10. If your sign says you close at 11 you don’t catch an attitude with your customers that walk in at 930. I will not be coming back they should be ashamed of themselves for treating paying customers with such an attitude. When we were ready to leave I had to go find our waitress outside to get our bill and the owner showed me where to get the to go containers instead of coming around the desk to get them for me.

The food wasn’t terrible, but the service really pissed me off. At 9:45 we were told told to hurry up to place our order because they were shutting down the grill. They close at 11:00. We rushed to eat but couldn’t find our waitress because she was on a smoke break. At 10:15 they were putting the chairs up and shutting off lights. Very unprofessional. Millsboro Pizza Palace never disappoints.

Pizza greasy but tasty; crust a bit dry and crumbly. Fries were awesome. House salad was refreshingly cold and crisp. Definitely not gourmet, but a big, flavor packed dinner.

The pizza is sloppy wings are O. K, cheese bread is usually good, when they remember to put cheese on it, no delivery, Carusos is better and they deliver
