I think I sampled all their beers. If I missed any, I need to make the trek back up there. Very good! A little far for a San Antonio boy, but worth the trip.

An excellent place to hang out and meet friends on Fridays and Saturdays. Why so specific? Because those are the only days they are open! This is not a bar, it’s their tasting room so expect to feel all the excitement of being invited in to the sights and smells of a brewery! They’ve got tables and chairs, games to play, and usually a food truck for those who might get hungry. A fun, casual hangout!

Feels like home, love the dog friendly taproom/patio. Great service and good brew. Good deal $ 10 for 3 pours and keep the glass! Rotating food trucks is a plus when stopping by after work.

Excellent old world style brews! 10 bucks gets you 3 pours and a glass. I enjoyed all the beers and the Weizenbock and hefeweizen are fantastic. The taproom is in a warehouse with a couple tvs for sports. There is some outdoor seating as well along with a food truck. If you love beer you must check this place out!

When I showed up at 5 p.m. on a Saturday, I was beyond thrilled to see the crowd that I did! I think the folks in the Sun City area are thirsty for good beer and this spot is filling the void. For $ 10 you get 3 tokens for 3 pours + the glass. They don’t even ask for 2 tokens for the Russian Imperial Stout — that’s a steal! There is seating inside the brewery and then several picnic tables outside. When we were there, there was a food truck and everyone was having a great time. The place is also dog friendly. While my boyf and I really liked their beers, their hefe and weizenbock were hoppier than the style calls for, but all the beers were clean and good. The weizenbock lacked the banana esters, tasted more like a traditional bock for me. The RIS was roasty and great! I hope more people venture out here to give Rentsch a try.

Great selection of fine brews. Clean, well operated establishment. Food trailer on premises was a good addition. Check this place out. Worth the trip.

This is minimalism done right. Don’t expect fancy. Expect good. The beer is excellent. Three traditional old world brews and a killer IPA that isn’t over-hopped and balances a solid ABV% with smooth drinkability that only comes from a high mineral content water base. The staff are friendly and accommodating and they enjoy talking about their beer(which they are proud of, and should be). It’s dog friendly, casual, and just a great weekend scene. You should definitely check it out.

The atmosphere is awesome and so is the staff. I just wish the beers tasted better. Beers are $ 10 for 3 pints and you get the keep the glass. Their IPA was solid and the only beer I liked. The Weizenbock was ok, nothing special there. The Session lacked flavor and was disappointing. I hear the Hefeweizen is good but they were out when I visited. The atmosphere is great. They have 2 TVs that play college football all afternoon. I got to drink beer and watch UT fans wallow in their bad football season. There are food trucks and seating outside too. The staff were helpful in explaining their beers and will let you have a small taste before committing to a full pint. I’ll definitely come back to throw back some IPAs. They are a small brewery so maybe they will come up with some better tasting brews in the future.

Great beers and a great atmosphere. Very family friendly. They have college football on Saturdays and live music on Fridays. Their Weizenbock is out of this world.

I attended their grand opening event recently. It was well run and the staff is friendly. They have a nice space with several long tables and bar stool seating indoors, and plenty of bench seating outdoors. Regarding their first beer offerings: IPA — nice and hoppy, grassy undertones Hefeweizen — probably their best beer(so far), nice hint of banana Weizenbock — okay(to be fair, I’m not much of a bock fan) Session — awful, watery and almost no flavor

Georgetown’s first brewery is a home run. All four beers on tap for the grand opening were excellent. The IPA, Hefeweizen, and Weizenbock are very good examples of their styles, and the«session beer,» described as a cross between pale ale and Kölsch, is delicious. Come check it out!
