Due to remodelling of my bathrooms, the huge(90s variety) mirrors had to be trimmed. Russell Glass did a wonderful job of trimming two massive mirrors for the bathrooms. I learned a valuable lesson here: If you are changing over from carpeting to wood flooring, keep a section of carpet for mirror or glass cutters to use as a base. I was happy that I was able to muster some old carpet so that it could be placed under the mirrors. After the trimming was done, we tossed the carpet so that the minute pieces of glass would not endanger anyone. I am happy with the lovely lady at the front desk and with the men who did a great job of trimming and re-installing my mirrors. I also ordered a small mirror to be cut to fit a small space and this was done promptly, perfectly and at a reasonable price.

My experience with Russell Glass has been nothing short of exceptional. I had to have custom shower doors installed in the Master Bath. They were prompt every time an appointment was scheduled to come out & measure & then install the doors. Their work is awesome & they are true professionals. I will recommend them to anyone in my business and or friends. I’ve posted a few pictures of the shower doors but the pictures don’t do justice really. I am totally pleased! Thank You Russell Glass!

The worst. Expensive and zero service. When i say zero i mean no call back. No we don’t care-nothing. i am a San Antonio home-builder. I purchased about 8 big door units from these horrible people. They simply will not service their work. They don’t come out and tell you it isn’t warrant-able or anything like that. They just won’t call or come out. i told the owner Russ i was going to take this to social media if he didn’t fix the door unit that was still under warranty. I guess they simply do not care. We spent about $ 65,000.00 with them and this is how they treated us.

Final Round: the sweet girl in the office came through for us, herself, and Russell Glass. A great apology is welcome. Maybe get the supervisor some training? Round three: sweet wife of mine calls and gets a quick«we’ll make it right». No splitting replacement. No problem. We shall see and I’ll be glad to bump up the stars. Original comments: Whaaa? I am extremely disappointed with Russell Glass. I went in with dimensions for new cabinet fronts. I gave the sweet lady behind the counter my written measurements. She said«you want the reeds to go up and down with the height of the cabinets, right?» We both made hand gestures up and down to confirm we were on the same page, here. I didn’t put«tall» or «height» in my measurements I showed her. She typed them in with no «tall» or «wide» or «height». I saw it on the order. So the glass comes in and the reeded glass lines are horizontal across the cabinet height. I say«oh sh*t, you messed up.» She agrees and apologizes for her mistake and says I’ll reorder immediately. Ok, 5 big freakin’n stars so far, right? Here’s the kicker: she calls today and says her supervisor will not eat this cost as it is a custom glass order. «No refunds» she says. We will split the cost of the order with you, she says. I say«Whaaa? I didn’t screw up the order. I let you do that.» She says maybe you can convince my supervisor to … I hung up. Holy Mother of Retail Competency! I’ve known the Rutledge family for 30 years and have a hard time thinking they got here treating small orders like mine like crap.

I had a great experience with Russell Glass after the body shop that I used in Houston botched job. They took time to explain my options and what would be best for my vehicle and my budget. Very professional they had me in and out in no time

Very Disappointing! I called to make an appointment for a frameless shower quote and the lady I spoke was really nice. It went downhill from there. She told me they would be there between the hours 9am to 12pm. I asked her to have them call me before they showed up. 2 guys showed up at 9am without any warning, when I opened the door to greet them, they just came in the door. They did not even introduce themselves, they just asked me where shower was and started heading towards the bathroom. They took one look at the shower and told me they couldn’t do anything because of marbled shower and that they would have to take apart the back wall to install it. Not even, hey let’s measure it and see what we come up. It was a flat out, «you’re screwed». Then they left, and I never did get their names.

My experience was very different than some of the others. We had them come out and replace a large window in our home and it went very well. Even better was the screen porch they just did for us. Micky was so nice and the estimate he gave us was exactly the finished price. The workmanship was superior. I can’t speak for the others but our 2 experiences were excellent.

Made an appointment for someone to come give us a price on replacing our windows — they never showed up or called. Must not need the business.

I cannot stress enough how much anyone should avoid doing business with this company. In their dealings with me they; 1. Refused to honor their original bid price 2. Never returned phone calls 3. Took twice as long to complete the work as promised 4. Refused to make repairs to their work after complete.
