Salon D’mari

A GUY’s review of a chick’s hair salon…
At first it was a bit tricky to find, but what a nice little spot! And it is not called «Salon D’mari» ( Unilocal issue?) it is called «Tresses-​N-​Treasures» Très chic! While I am not one for hair salons, I know several guys who had their hair (and beards/​mustaches) done in this cozy, intimate little place and they look better than me (which really isn’t hard, but that’s beside the point). So I thought I’d give it a try. After all, in 20 years we’ll all be chicks.
The ladies that work there are all very nice and quite professional (and good-​looking), and while I waited, several of the clientèle were giving me an earful of the place and people. Some of these ladies who have their hair, nails, whatever done here drive for miles! I suppose if your hair and nails are worth it to you, then you’d dive for miles, too!
I’m a bit easier to please (doesn’t take much), so I was blown away at the level of attention and quality of the trim that I received; I didn’t need a full haircut, per se, but needed to be «cleaned up» as it were.
I generally judge a haircut place (whether a cheap chain or a top-​of-​the-​line fancy place like this) by the WASHING of my hair… Yes, I admit it: the wash is my favorite part. Heck, I’ve even contemplated just stopping by for a wash at the end of a hot day… yeah, that’s spoiling ones self a bit too much (but dang, is it awesome).
The lady doing my trim, along with beard and mustache touch-​ups was Shannon, and she offered me more tips, clues and how-to’s for my self-​grooming maintenance (such as it is… or isn’t). Sound advice and a great «clean up» cut. What more could I ask for? A cheaper price, but honestly, if you do not understand that you get what you pay for by now, then stay at the chain places and stick with the minimums. However, if you need it done right, head to Tresses-​N-​Treasures.
Turns out, many guys ARE able to be surrounded by beautiful ladies who lavish all kinds of cosmetological attention on them. Not a bad deal in my book!

What a great place! The people are very nice and the décor is warm and inviting. Shannon is my favorite — she works magic with hair. I have and would recommend her to everyone!

You have got to go here. Shannon S. does my hair and she is the best. She is a great stylist. Love this place!
