Sue Hains

We bought a new house in Cedar Park and the builders had installed a stark white cast limestone fireplace. It just wasn’t a good fit with our neutral furnishings and it sort of stood out like a sore thumb. We found Sue Hains (Artisan Surfaces) and reviewed some of the work on her website.
Sue met with us to discuss what we had in mind for the fireplace. We showed her an idea we’d found and she brought some of her own ideas for making it appear more like natural stone. Using some of the color from the surrounding walls and from a couple of other furnishings, she blended the color perfectly. Our fireplace now blends really well with the room, looks so much more natural, and is still a lovely focal point. It looks like it belongs now!
We love what Sue was able to do and she is a true professional in every detail from scheduling to finishing. We are very happy and would highly recommend her.
