Well, before anyone buys from Top Gun… We are from up in Ohio. My son found a Jeep he liked that Top Gun Auto Sales had listed on Craig’s List. We drove down and met up with Mike Stacy. he seemed like a real upstanding kind of guy. We liked the Jeep. We made a deal that included a soft top(parts of it) and a auto warranty that we paid for upfront. The warranty was written into the contract but not the soft top. A couple of months after we got the Jeep home, my husband called to make sure the warranty started when it was supposed to and all that, and found out we had no warranty at all! We called and talked to Mike Stacy and he said there had been some hang-ups but he’d get it taken care. That was two months ago. I have called several times and left messages with some guy who works there, but I get no call back. So he promised us a soft top, but its our own fault we didn’t make sure that was in the contract, and we paid several hundred dollars for a warranty that we don’t have and he won’t call us back, so our only recourse is to drive down a couple of hours to talk to Mike Stacy or file suit in small claims. Well, this was the first time we bought from one of those side of the road car dealers and it will be the last. We fell for a line of you-know-what and a friendly face and a belief that if someone served in the military, they were a good guy. Please be careful if anyone decides to buy from Top Gun — they are not the good guys they come off to be!
