I had a horrific experience with this company. I scheduled an appointment for them to come out and check my three ac units, clean and estimate the repairs needed. They told me they would be out Monday or Tuesday. They didn’t show or call. I called them on Thursday and they finally came out the next day. They told Me what was wrong and that they would send me an estimate and be back Monday or Tuesday of the next week. Once again they didn’t show nor did they send the estimate. I called them again on Friday. The man told me they didn’t «bother» with me because they had a $ 40,000 contract and they weren’t going to mess it up. I told him all I wanted was a phone call and email. He told me it wasn’t worth sending because it was minor and they weren’t going to send anything because I would probably go with someone else. I told him I was going to complain, and he told me do whatever and hung up. He was so rude and had a nasty attitude. My bill would have been close to $ 1000– so if you’re not a tens of thousands of dollars client don’t expect calls, emails, respect, or any kind of customer service. I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISCONTRACTOR– literally THEWORSTCONTRACTOR I HAVEEVERDEALTWITH. Don’t waste your time, energy or money.

Recently we lost functionality with two Lennox central air units on the same Friday afternoon, leaving the primary living area of our home without air conditioning when the outside temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. My immediate solution was to purchase a portable unit from Home Depot to try to get through the weekend. The Lennox vendor already told me new central air units would be a good option but that their crews were likely tied up on a commercial job for a while. At Home Depot the store manager suggested I speak with John Starr the local Carrier dealer. John was at my house an hour after the manager from Home Depot called him — on a Saturday, when most vendors are fishing or playing golf. He asked his office manager to come in to the office and he met me shortly thereafter. I was so impressed with the«hustle» demonstrated by John and his associate I decided to let them replace all three units at my home. At 8:30 a.m. the following Monday, John’s installers, Richard and Alex began replacing the unit that serviced the largest part of my house. They were finished that day. The second unit was installed two days later and the third today. All of the people with whom I interacted were absolute pros. Everyone I speak with, who would know, suggest that Carrier is the best brand. I cannot recommend John Starr highly enough. The man does what he says he will do, communicates constantly and obviously cares about his clients. He treated me exactly how I attempt to treat my own clients. Whatever it takes, whenever is necessary.
