I used to go to sporting stores for shoes. Never again. Why go buy shoes from a college student that doesn’t have a clue about the product when you can buy from people that really know shoes?! And it doesn’t cost anymore! Prices are the same! And you get fitted by an expert! I buy for whole family and great thing is if there is a problem they take care of it no problem. My sisters daughter who runs CC shoes started coming unstitched and they let us return them in exchange for another pair. And this was after she ran through mud and everything.
I highly recommend breakaway for any person needing a good pair of shoes for walking, standing, running — all life styles !

It’s a specialty running store. They’re good at what they do. The trade for that is — well, they’re exclusive about what they do.
Everything, well almost everything, they sell is Breakaway specific. They have their logo on everything.
This location is smaller than the Midtown store. The vibe isn’t the same either…
They are less enthusiastic (to be fair we often shop for shoes with two kids in tow) than most other running stores we’ve visited, but they have a strong following in this community.
They host group runs and sponsor races — and that is vital to the running world.
