Having recently moved to Germantown. I was curious about the local dining spots. Every local I spoke to raved about Don’s. I am sorry to say the pizza I had was nearly inedible. Although generous with the toppings. The onions were rehydrated onions. The crust tasted like the cardboard box. The only thing that was great was the people who work there. I had the pleasure of meeting the late Don’s wife. She was super sweet. I wish the food was better.

If you enjoy Ohio Style Pizza, this is the best you will find. Edge to edge toppings, cut in squares and a sweet and salty sauce that will send your tastebuds into orgasmic delight. I have eaten hundreds of Don’s Pizza’s. They are incredible.
Do not judge this place by its appearance. Judge it by its product.

Best pizza ever! In Germantown Ohio Home sweet home. Don’t make pizza like this in Kentucky and we come here when we get back to Ohio! Style if pizza is most unique. Family owned and ran and can’t be best!

I was raised in Germantown and on Don’s pizza until I moved to Columbus 30 years ago. This is the best pizza I have ever had. The very first thing I do when I come back to Gtown is get a pie from Don’s. Anyone that would write a bad review on this place is either suffering from anosmia and lost their sense of taste or amnesia and forgot what good pizza tastes like.

Great place in Gtown to get pizza or subs. … usually a wait especially for delivery. … but really good pizza. The staff is very friendly and will help make recommendations too. We stop almost every time we visit family in town.

I have ordered from Don’s before, several times. Lasagna was good and the Pizza really good. What is terrible is the Spaghetti. Bland, far too tart, meatballs were chunks of hamburger. All in all… about the worst I have had. I would take MRE Spaghetti over this.
I will give this two stars because the staff is awesome and delivery person the same.

I’ve been here twice with my cariño, who is a Germantown native, I’m from Dayton, over the span of many months. I really enjoy the old pizza parlor feel complete with picnic-style tablecloths and circus memorabilia on the walls. Large assortment of drinks and sodas in the cooler cases, even ice cream treats in a freezer.
We ordered the same thin-crust pizza with sausage, green olives, and mushrooms both times and it was consistently tasty doctored up with some pepper, salt, and chili peppers. Next time I’ll try parmesan cheese on it too and some of the sides. Order your pizza, have a seat, then they bring it out, and it doesn’t take long.

I LOVE pizza, and always like finding new a different places. So my wife and I decided to give it a try yesterday — and it was quite good.
We go the thin crust — not sure if they have any other crust — with everything (minus anchovies). I got half jalapenos, because I like to spice it up. All in all, it was a great pizza. My only complaint was the curst was just a little salty — but not over the top.
If you’re in the area, and enjoy pizza — give them a shot!

As someone who was not paid to write a great review I can say: This has been some of the best pizza I’ve had. Still the same since my third grade class had a pizza party here in 1987. I’m afraid the other reviewer has it completely wrong. I really doubt the owners have the funds set aside to pay people to write good reivews on Unilocal,and anyway, anyone who lives in Germantown appreciates this Ma and Pa deliciousness. Haters stay away, this is not 5 star dining!

This is the worst place to eat a pizza gross unbussed tables, waitress has no idea what she is doing, managers are completely rude, Pizza tastes like toppings were put on a tortilla chip due to all the salt on the bottom of the crust. Don’t waste your money. Anyone that said this was good food was paid by the business to say good things. Health inspector needs to fine them for the termite damage of the walls in the dining area.
