Edible Arrangements

For what Edible Arrangements charged for the item I ordered, it should have been a better experience. First, I’d asked them to deliver by 11am. That didn’t happen. Then when they re-​delivered it, they left out all of the (pricey) add-​ons. They were polite about the whole mess but I’m not going to order from them again. This was a bad experience and that’s unacceptable for what they charged.

Delivery service need to be improved. They left it at the leasing office which is fine since there was no one to received the delivery.
But they didn’t let my friend know they did that. Actually they called but did not leave a message. My friend received it after 48 hours since I had to made several call to the store to find out what happen exactly. Too much hassle.
These are perishable and this is just not right.

I placed a same day order from the west coast for delivery by a local store on the east coast, and saw that on the website it said to order by 3 pm for same day delivery. I kind of spaced and forget that MD is 3 hours ahead of where I live. I called and spoke to Karuna, she was very sweet and said that it was past 5 and they couldn’t do it until the next day. I told her how much it meant to me for it to get there the same day to deliver a smile to someone, and she went out of her way to do a little extra work to get the order in for the same day for me. Thank you so much! That is what I call going the extra mile. Great service. Thanks, Karuna!

Fruit was fresh and the chocolate was tasty. But the service was bad. This is the second time I have had bad service. First time I ordered on the web and went to pick i up in the afternoon as I had planned. No rush anywhere. She said 10 minutes. I waited 20.
Ordered online for Friday morning pickup at 9:30. They open at 8:00 AM. arrived at 10:00 AM. She said 10 minute wait. So, i left and came back 15 minutes later. Not ready. I saw her hurriedly making it while I waited another 5 minutes. Valentines day weekend coming up, but I ordered ahead of time.

I ordered something for my mother for her birthday and due to the snow storm they were unable to deliver on the requested date. They worked with me to get a date close by which was great. She sent me a pic of the arrangement today and it looked great! She loved it. I am very happy with the experience and they had exceptional customer service.

This occurrence warranted my first Unilocal review ever (after using it for years).
Ordered a Mother’s Day arrangement (chocolate covered strawberries and balloon) for my wonderful mom. Received email confirmation. Delivery was NEVER MADE! Called them the day after. Their response: «We had a lot of orders that day and your order must have been lost.» Seriously? You weren’t prepared for Mother’s Day deliveries??? So now I look like I forgot about my mom on Mother’s Day! Then they say they will make the delivery and refund my payment. Fast forward to Thursday: still no sight of delivery. Call them again. This time they say they will refund my payment (nothing about still making the delivery). I tell them fine whatever just give me my money back and I won’t use you ever again. Friday now, still no refund. If I don’t receive my refund by next week I will tell my bank the charge was fraudulent! I order edible arrangements for people all over the country (it’s my go-​to gift) and this location obviously doesn’t have their shit together at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Received a gift for my bday and Easter from a family member. Arrived home and delivery was upside down (had just been out on an errand — so arrived within 45 minutes of the delivery). Strawberries smelled way past due as well — like wine. I called the Germantown location. A person named «Smith» seemed worried only about his driver. The whole customer service experience was absent. He never asked my name address or order number. Frustrated after 5 minutes of trying to educate the owner of the location that I was not happy, I gave up and called corporate. Not much better. They said they did not have record of the order and after the call was completed the corporate office email my family member– gifter in this case. They asked the gifter what the problem was. Really? When my family member called the Germantown location and spoke to «Smith», he (claimed to be owner) denied I had even called or that there was any issue. A disaster and I never got a call back, email or any resolution. This all occurred ³⁄₃₀. Terrible. This company is horrible.

I don’t like writing negative reviews and I usually don’t (this is my first), but I feel like this is warranted. First off, I ordered online — a chocolate covered strawberry bouquet for my wife and children, along with dark chocolate dipped granny smith apple wedges. Not sure if I had the choice to choose the location of my Edible Arrangement store, but went ahead and stayed with the website’s recommendation which was the Germantown location. In any case, the order was delivered promptly on the day specified in my order (day before Valentine’s Day). However, I noticed that the apple wedges were not included. So, I called the following day and the person on the phone said they’d deliver the «complimentary» apple wedges for free the day after Valentine’s. (Mind you, I paid for the apple wedges, so there’s nothing complimentary about that.) Friday rolls around, the sun sets, I’m in my PJs, and still no apple wedges. The following day I try calling and no one answers… waited for about 10 min., still no answer. Called again the following day and no answer. Monday finally rolls around, my family’s blood sugar is low because they need those fcking chocolate covered apple wedges, and someone finally answers. My wife was in the area since she was bringing one of my kids to see the doctor (that’s another story), so I tell the guy that my wife will pick up the apple wedges (Yippee!). I can tell it was the same guy due to his accent (not knocking on folks with accents since I know tons of folks with accents and love them to death), but there was no apology whatsoever even though they’re already 5 days late. My wife comes home with the wedges, kids bouncing off the walls due to the chocolate/​apple sugar high, and I ask her how the store staff was upon pick up. Said they weren’t necessarily rude, but again no apology whatsoever. Anyways, I end up trying one of those apple wedges the next evening and the first bite was okay… apple still firm and had a nice crunch (mixed well with the chocolate), but the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th bite yielded a soft, bruised apple. WTF?! The next morning, my youngest asked for one and after he ate all of the chocolate, the entire apple wedge was brown and soft! More than half of the 10 chocolate-​covered apple wedges were bruised and soft. Ridiculous!!! At this point, it wasn’t even worth calling up and complaining. If I could rate them a ZERO I would, but being that my wife and kids enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries, I’ll be nice and give them a ONE. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from Edible Arrangements again, especially if deliveries only come from the Germantown location.

I got an order when I had pneumonia. It was very fresh and delivered.

I got a Edible Arrangements for Valentine’s Day from this location. Delivery was made promptly and right at 9 AM which is a good time to get a delightful treat. However, this treat was not so delightful. It was a pineapple and strawberry bouquet, and it was not fresh. I have gotten and given many Edible Arrangements and this one was probably the less freshest one ever. First the pineapple was very hard and not ripe. The strawberries were mostly soft and already going bad. These fruit bouquets usually can last me a couple days, but this one was ready to be thrown out by mid-​day.
The delivery person was sweet and very pleasant.
But as for the quality of the fruit — it needs major work.
