So went back within 24 hours to return as I was told I could and the customer service was horrible. The same person who rang us up yesterday with a smile now was nasty and silent. Never will I go to this franchise.

If I could give it no stars I would. I literally just left this store. Whoever was at the counter damn near had a heart attack when one of my 4 year olds picked up a small«plastic» bottle on the shelf. Before I could even say anything he said«Please dont». I gave him the stare of death and told him he needed to relax that I am right here and Im watching them. I will not return to this location!!!

As everyone else is staying, I live maybe 2 minutes away and will make the trip to Lakeforest from here on out. The older gentleman(for lack of a better term) here ALWAYS tries to up-sell you on a product that is significantly more expensive than the original you came in for. He’s all smiles and customer service until you stick to your guns and say no thanks to the over priced sell and then the smile fades and he’s just plain rude. I also didn’t realize until I walked out that I was charged a regular price instead of a member price and rather than going back in to get my 10 dollars I left it at that, interaction/arguing with that guy was just not worth the money. I’ll be going to the Lakeforest GNC from here on out, the employees there are so much friendlier and significantly more helpful. The extra 10 minutes in the car are truly worth it, though my experience with this particular GNC has been so frustrating I may give the Vitamin Shoppe a go despite my membership.

I’ve gone to this store due to its proximity and have always walked out pissed off; today no exception. The older gentlemen there has made every experience a stressful one. He doesn’t know how to use the coupons one gets online, doesn’t offer to find alternative means of getting the online offers and seems to be happier having you leave more than anything else. This is why brick and mortar stores are going out of business and I have zero pity for them. Guess its back to online ordering and waiting a little longer for my vitamins and protein.

Meh. I go here because it’s close to home, but the staff is either ignoring the customers, or being completely overbearing. THREE separate friends of mine have been talked into purchasing Amplify XL over their protein powder of choice and all three of them have thrown it away. It’s overly sweet, chalky, and smells like rotten eggs… there are better products out there! Last time I shopped there with my boyfriend the man working the counter talked him into the Amplify XL and lectured me about my own vegan choices. He went on and on about Atkins and how you can lose 10 lbs a week eating McDonald’s burgers without the bun, steak, and eggs. It was a little much. I don’t mind some advice, but ultimately I want to make my own choices about what I put in my body.

Avoid this place like the plague. Never have any specials and the staff is flat out rude. Like it is an inconvenience to them that you are shopping there. Went to another GNC just a few miles away at Lakeforest Mall, got my purchase for over $ 10 cheaper and was treated like a Gold Member customer is supposed to be treated.
