Just got my haircut here by Janeth. She did an awesome job, very thorough, even offered to trim my beard! Very pleased and will be going back!

I’ve been looking for a barbershop for a while in Montgomery County but I never found one that I was satisfied with. I gave this place a try and looked for Lina since there are a lot of people complementing her work. I couldn’t be any happier, Lina is amazing.

This is a fantastic barbershop. Lina, the owner, has cut my hair for over seven years, and based on this experience, I can say that she is one of the best in the business. Lina used to cut my hair at a barbershop in Dupont Circle, but I’ve followed her to Germantown. The view out the window of her new barbershop may have changed from a busy downtown scene to a more relaxed suburban scene, but the hair cut and the service are still of the highest quality.

The best haircut in DC is now the best haircut in Maryland! Lina’s cut my hair for six years. And when she left Diego’s in Dupont Circle, there was no question I’d make the 45 minute trip north to Germantown. No one can tame my wild cowlicks quite like Lina. I really can’t say enough good things. DC’s loss is definitely Germantown’s gain!

I went in yesterday for a haircut, it was not the simple haircut that most men go in to get so I understand if it takes a little more time than usual, but it was a bit much. We were in there for over 45 minutes, and I’ve had my hair cut in this style numerous times and the most it’s ever taken was 15 – 20 minutes max. My hair was partially combed and I don’t have that much hair for it to take that long. My barber, Tony, was very friendly and apologized for all of the inconvenience which I definitely appreciated, he was a bit chatty though. He also seemed really unsure of himself and kept going back to the same areas to adjust them, which ended up with the top of my hair being shorter than I would’ve liked but hair grows back so I’m okay, my haircut doesn’t look bad at all, just not sure if I would go back is all, the staff was friendly, but sometimes friendly doesn’t outweigh the service being offered, and it wasn’t up to par

I moved to DC3 years ago and lucked into finding Lina when it was time for my first haircut. At the time, she was working in DC. After she opened up her new shop in Germantown, I had absolutely no reservations about following her out there. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for a haircut, and the trip to Germantown Barbershop from DC is undoubtedly worth my time. In 3 years, through slightly varying styles and a constantly receding hairline, Lina has always cut my hair perfectly and as requested. She listens well and takes her time to ensure that I am happy and receiving exactly what I have asked for. One time, I ended up not liking what I had asked for after sleeping on my haircut for a night. I stopped back in to the shop the next day. Lina did not hesitate to squeeze me into her schedule and touch up my coif at no extra charge! And this was my mistake! Beyond the fact that she is unbelievably skilled at her craft, her customer service is unparalleled. She is patient, accommodating, and professional. Always with a smile, she has waited until after closing for me to fight my way through unexpected traffic. In the dead of summer, she doesn’t hesitate to do a quick, cold shampoo to cool off my sweaty head. She even shared her snacks with me on a day when I wasn’t able to squeeze in lunch. If you are looking for a first class haircut, look no further than Lina’s Germantown Barbershop. Lina, Janet, and the rest of her staff are extremely skilled and offer some of the best haircuts in and around the DC area. The rare combination of skill and service make for an unbeatable value and experience. I can honestly say that I look forward to when my hair has grown too long and it’s time for another cut at Lina’s.

Lina has been cutting my hair for a couple years out of a barbershop in Washington DC. She gave me the best haircuts I’ve ever had and I will continue to see her at her new location at Germantown Barbershop. Patrons in and residents of Germantown are really lucky to have Lina and her staff at this reopened location.

Citizens of Germantown, rejoice! You all have the privilege of being in the same neighborhood of Lina, a hairdresser that I went to for 7 years before she parted ways with Diego’s Hair Salon in downtown DC. Across a 7-year period, Lina never once messed up a haircut. Every single one — some several hundred I got — was perfect. I also sent 4 – 5 of my friends there who are now also loyal customers. We were devastated to hear that she was leaving DC to go to Germantown, but one man’s loss is another man’s gain. Go get your haircut here! You will not be disappointed.

I started going to Lina for haircuts when she worked at Diego’s in DC, which was conveniently located right around the corner from my home. She did a great job, was warm and friendly, and was always on time. Now Lina has her own shop, Germantown Barbershop, which is clean and friendly, just as I would have expected. I do miss walking two minutes to get to the barbershop, but I’m loyal to Lina so am willing to make the forty minute drive to get a great haircut and support her new business.

I would recommend Lina and the shop to anyone looking to experience professional, friendly, and truly exceptional service. I’ve been coming to the Germantown Barbershop for 9 years now, and will continue to patronize.

Germantown Barberhop recently was re-acquired by a new owner because Lim has retired. However, the place looks amazing and clean. I came on a Monday around 3pm and the owner greeted me warmly and I was immediately seen for a men’ haircut. She knew exactly what kind of style I wanted and gave me an amazing cut. Very reasonable priced too: around $ 20ish with a tip. I plan on revisiting!

Horrible place to get a haircut first of all a lady cut my hair who didn’t speak English I had no shape up after because she didn’t know how to even do line ups so I pretty much walked out with a bald head the second she did charge my card correctly because she didn’t know how to work the cashier machine so they try to call me up saying I owe them money. The must have been ment to happens I’m so glad she didn’t know how to charge my card because that was the worst nightmare haircut I just went home and shaved my fucking head bald so avoid this place as much as possible. NOJOKEDEADTOTHEBONESERIOUS maybe if u wanna get your head shaved quick all fuck up then yea go here but other then that this place is terrible

This place is HORRIBLE! Do NOT let this woman cut your hair!!! She completely ruined my beard and then STILL charged me for it, telling me that she would do it right«next time.» I then notice that not only was my beard lop-sided, but the line for my fade wasn’t even either. Stay far away from this place.
