Absolutely LOVE having this business in town. Very convenient and competes with the big box stores. So often I’ve needed something working by around the house and dreaded having to drive to Hudson, Kingston or Catskill to a big box store. Went to the variety store and they had exactly what I needed and I feel so good about supporting a local small business.

Handy variety store: cards, books, well selected upscale paraphernalia, e.g., homespun tablecloths and napkins. And knife sharpening. Friendly and casual with two beautiful (live) cats. I bought a film journal. Also journals for: goals/​ideas, travel, books read, etc.
