Fried picked appetizer greasy, slow service at lunch on Sunday. Texas toast burger OK, tarter sauce with fish basket the best part of entrée!

This location is terrible. I’m normally a big fan of hueys but the germantown location is a joke. The only thing ever good there are the drinks. The food is completely mediocre and nothing like the other locations. I work down the street and was very excited about there being a hueys so close to work but after eating here I’m just dissapointed. The last 5 times I’ve ordered there it has been undercooked or not even hot and most of the time the orders aren’t right. I don’t know if it’s the staff that is bad or what but I will mostly likely never eat at the germantown store ever again and stick to the Southwind location.

It was an OK experience. Happy that we found this place open in Memphis when apparently most restaurants Re closed on a Sunday evening. Hamburgers were good, music was a bit too loud. Service was very fast which indeed was a plus, after having been on the road the whole day. Was expecting a lot, because of the great reviews for this place. Again it was OK.

Honestly probably the best burgers I have ever had! My coworkers and I have gone here several times while we are here in Memphis… I have had the Heinz 57 burger and onion rings, but by far my favorite is the A-1 burger! Very inexpensive and great live music… Love this place!

Fun on Tuesday night trivia. Great happy hour that lasts till 10. Decent pub grub and a nice crowd. Live music on Sunday night. Cheap bloodys on the weekend. A Memphis favorite

Service has always been good. Food is good. Drinks are good. Nothing screams excellent, but it is good. The location, however, is great!

We love all the Huey’s restaurants, but this is our favorite location. Service and food are always great, and it’s not overly priced. One of the first places we take guests who are visiting Memphis for the first time.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. There are several in Memphis area. We are ate one for lunch, and in another area of town chose one for dinner. Hamburgers are great. Chicken tenders great. Onion straws with special sauce – yum. Even the grilled salmon, felt to be risky in a pub-like atmosphere, was good. Fun…everyone shoots the frill picks into the ceiling. Yearly fundraiser… buy a guess for $ 1 each. Guess how many picks are there when they clean them all down. Win a gift card if closest. $$ goes to the zoo. Then they start all over.

We had dinner with one of our guy friends from Collierville the other night. We opted for this Huey’s because their patio is awesome! We sat outside all evening and never got chilly! Of course it is Huey’s, so we already know how delicious their food is, but our server, Justin, was awesome! He was very attentive and checked on us often! Thanks for another great meal, Huey’s of Germantown!

Called in for a take out order. One item was the Cobb salad chopped/tossed. They did not know what a chopped request is. The lettuce was all wilted/brown and the spinach was yet worse Knowing the ownership, I am shocked and extremely disappointed Next time… that won’t be happening

I always enjoy a Huey’s burger! Their shrimp po’ boy is very good too. It is a bit on the pricey side, and shooting a toothpick to stick in the ceiling was great fun for my daughter — even if, as another reviewer said, a bit gross — it is a nice pub-style restaurant with consistently good food.

The new Huey’s is still clean, and while the memorobilia from the area on the walls helps, it doesn’t have that dirty charm that is so endearing. I have been to this Huey’s more than 3 times, but sometimes forget to check in on Unilocal. Ask for your fries extra crispy, and you’ll get a tolerable steak fry(who knew?). My reuben was soggy(I think they cooked it too low), but tasted fine, and the kids chomped right through their hamburgers and free ice cream. After your meal, put the pointy end of your sandwich pick through the end of a straw. Put that end of the straw between your lips, and blow straight at the ceiling. Then give the kids a quarter for the machines by the exit. Even better, leave quarters in the machines for whomever comes along next. This is a go-to on a lunchtime when we have visitors in town. It is a cliffs notes of a casual Memphis. If it is spring, summer, or fall, take your baseball team or other sporty little matching numbered group of boys or girls to the outdoor patio, which is cooled and heated!

Great wait staff and the same old Huey’s décor In this new location. The Band was good enough, sang a huge variety of songs, a few of them very very well. Nacho’s were very bland… nothing appealing in the tastes… looked better than it tasted… I suspect poor quality ingredients. The icebox lemon pie was tasty… but sprinkled with straight cinnamon powder which I don’t think goes well with a lemon flavor, ever.

Our first visit to the Germantown location. I got a Tossed Salad and Potato Soup. Dyann got the Fried Chicken Salad. Both salads were very fresh and Dyann almost cleaned her plate. My Potato Soup was very hearty and the favor profile was spot on. Service was great and the bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely come back. I would like to see them offer wine by the bottle.

It’s another over-congested Huey’s with slow service and average, outdated food. I paid almost $ 10 for a veggie burger, low-brow steamed veggies, and water. Give me a break. Beef costs more! I hate gimmick mark-ups! There are too many other places to eat with superior food. Lastly, I am all about cool ways to be different. HOWEVER! I personally do not like someone’s bacteria-laden toothpick falling on my table or anywhere around me for that matter. It’s UNSANITARY! Again, I am over it.

Huey’s is not in our regular rotation, but we made it to the new location Friday night. The dining room is nice and I think the patio is great. The spouse got a Thai chicken salad which looked minuscule. Surely they can afford more lettuce with the $ 9.15 price tag. I tried a veggie burger. It’s not something I usually order, but I thought a Huey’s burger would be special. I looked at it when it arrived and I was underwhelmed by the patty with unmelted cheese. It WAS good, but I expected more. I do like that you are not automatically ordering fries with a burger which is why I don’t get them often.

Great review among friends! Always a great place to come for conversation and more! Waiters and waitresses here have such an amazing attitude and are so nice! The menu has so many different selections to choose from… I definitely say to try the Fried Pickles! I know I’ve probably said that a lot on my reviews on Huey’s before, but this is too great for me to hush on. Besides that, the review is just to open up to «Huey’s Prescriptions»… Let em work on you…

This is my favorite bar and burger place in the Memphis area. The deluxe grilled chicken sandwich is great and consistant in every location. Very attentive waitstaff and bartenders are friendly. This location will be as successful as the other locations. This place is a winner. Only one problem, and I’ve brought this up to them before. NOHOTDOGS! COMEON Huey’s get with it!

I have reviewed a couple of Hueys on Unilocal already regarding the food, customer service, etc. The menu and atmosphere are pretty much the same at them all. It’s your laid back neighborhood spot. However, this Hueys seemed to have a little more modern atmosphere. Maybe because it is new? It does have the best and largest covered patio(with television) of all the Hueys that I have been to lately.

Tonight was the first official opening of Huey’s at the intersection of Germantown & Farmington. I have been to a few other Huey’s in Memphis, and this Huey’s is no different from the others. Somehow, it’s the opening night and they managed to cover just about every square inch of the walls with the usual kitchy stuff that really makes the Huey’s brand. I started out with the spinach & artichoke dip, which was creamy and had nice texture(the cheese wasn’t chalky or chunky like you can sometimes get with this dish). Next up, I split a grilled chicken salad and a West Coast Burger with my friend. So good! Burger was cooked well and the salad was fresh. Even though the décor of this restaurant isn’t my thing, I do think that it adds to the casual sit-down atmosphere. So in this category of restaurants, based on the great service, friendly people and yummy food, I give this place a full 5 stars. On top of that, they didn’t have even one mistake… you would have thought the place had been open for years. Bravo to the management and staff! If you’re looking for great food at great prices, head on over to the new Huey’s and help them fill up their ceiling with toothpicks. They have a nice outdoor patio, so I’ll surely be back in the summer.
