Customer service was terrible !!! especially associate Shelly #26 and manager Alena Buford at Saddle Creek Store 1694. They was rude, not helpful. They totally hated their job. I feel sorry for Loft corp.

I stopped in here looking for a basic black button-down cardigan, since mine finally bit the dust. I wander around a bit and find a nice one in petite medium, marked at $ 44.50. A little pricey, but ok, fine. Maybe I’ll just get one in white while I’m at it. Except, the sole white one out is a petite large, and of course I want it in medium. So I go to the register and ask for this item(handing over the black sweater) only in white. The girl says, «Well, I’ll have to check,» and then proceeds to walk over to the same rack, pick up the large one, and hold it out. When I point out that that is a large, and I want a medium, she says«Oh, I thought you said medium or large.» Um, no. I said«this item,» meaning, you know, THIS item, just in another color. And, hello, I did actually LOOK at what was on the rack. I ASKED because I thought they might have more in the back, not because I’m a total moron who can’t look two feet to the right. On the plus side, the black sweater rang up at a very reasonable $ 20 — sure would’ve been nice to have a sign alerting me to the fact that it was 50% off, since I almost bought a slightly different one from the sales rack that was marked at $ 30 instead. So while I’m glad I found my darn cardigan, I’m not in a hurry to come back here.

I love this store. Unlike the store in Oak Court Mall(see earlier review), I never have any problems finding my size. Their clothing is so wearable and accessible – never fashion victim-y. Most things I buy there, I feel comfortable wearing them both to work and just out and about, and that’s important to me. I can’t afford to buy two different wardrobes for work and life! I also love this location because there are so many other shopping choices in the same location, including regular Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Gap, J Crew, White House Black Market… it’s a pretty safe bet if you HAVE to find something quickly that you can find SOMETHING in that little section of Saddle Creek. I know, I know. I’m not cool because I don’t shop at any of the local boutiques. I’m cheap, people! I support lots of other local businesses though, promise!
