Not very good at all. Ordered pecan crusted grouper… it was their special that night. Horrible, fishy, rubbery that was after I dug through the 1″ thick breading that coated it to find the fish. My boyfriend ordered the rouladen, it was the size of an appetizer! They served it to him on a small plate! I couldn’t believe it — at least put it on a large plate w/your potato to make it LOOK like more. Too expensive for just 2 little rolls… ugh. Bartender was more interested in texting than waiting on us. Our server was nice, however they weren’t very busy and she definately took her time waiting on us. Won’t go there again!

Terrible food with no flavor, staff is rude and wedding planner refused to help us! The would not give us a tasting and we had to argue with them to even SEE the rental hall. Why this place is still in business is anyone’s guess

Went here for the first time Thursday night. I went there for the all you can eat prime rib special they have going on Thursday. They did not disappoint. Got there early and started with a few drinks at the bar. The bartender was just incredible. Friendly. Helpful. Funny. Just made our time and the bar and enjoyable one. Gave us tips on some drinks and what we could try at home to make the same kind of drinks were were enjoying there. When we were ready, they seated us right away. Everyone as just very friendly and very helpful. Just people you do not mind talking to and not mind asking questions to and laughing with. You were treated like friends there. We had the salad first. Very good. Nothing over the top but really good. The bread I liked a lot. I am a sucker for bread anyways. The prime rib was excellent. Very tender. Made to exactly how we ordered it. Not a lot of fat so we had a great piece of steak each time. We both ended up having two pieces and was very happy with both of them. We all ready have plans to come back and try their other specials as well as come back for their prime rib again. Also, I am looking forward to visiting in the summer. It looked like they have a really neat outdoors set up. Over all, great job. We will be back!

Visited The Bear for the first time a couple of weeks ago after driving past countless times. It wasn‘t at all what I expected. It‘s name is(or used to be, I‘m not sure) The Quilted Bear, for Pete‘s sake. I expect some less homogenized version of a Bob Evan‘s only with more crap on the walls. Turns out it‘s actually a pricey little fine dining restaurant just of the freeway. I was surprised, even taken aback, by the prices. I‘ve eaten at a few fine dining restaurants in my life but I was still surprised that a restaurant like this was charging around $ 20 a plate on the low end. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu for $ 18. It was just okay. Nothing special. And I really didn‘t get much food for $ 18. At least if the food was stellar, I could justify spending $ 18 on a chicken option. But it wasn‘t. The staff was awesome, though. Very attentive and friendly. I love it when I can at least say that about a restaurant.

Please note, I never send back a meal or dish, or even complain, I just eat and either enjoy it or not. I took my parents and we had porterhouse or t-bones. I could only eat a few bites — it was easily the worst meal I have ever eaten anywhere, other than some of my own creations. I would give it a one, but people seem to like the place.
