Dr Amir was highly recommended and not only did he live up to expectations, he surpassed my expectations. He did a root canal for me. I felt so confident and informed throughout the procedure. I felt so relaxed that time flew and I was all done! I can seriously say that if I should ever need another root canal, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Thank you Dr Amir and staff.

Here’s my story – and it’s a doozy: I had 2 fillings done in October (it’s now December), and a couple weeks after, my teeth started getting increasingly more sensitive to hot and cold. I ignored it for a while, but it just kept getting worse — and eventually I started to wake up with headaches. TERRIBLE headaches. I saw my regular doctor (non-​dentist) because I thought it was brain-​related. Then I saw my dentist. He told me I needed a root canal in one of my top teeth (the same one I had a filling in just 2 months prior), and referred me to Dr. Sarkarzadeh. I called his office and they were able to see me the next day.
I had a great experience. I thought I was just going in for a consultation, but he did the root canal right then and there. When I expressed surprise at the urgency, he said, «We can’t have you walking around in this kind of pain». That was a Thursday. On Sunday, I was having terrible pain again, this time in the bottom teeth on the same side. I called the emergency number and Dr. S. called back very soon after. He offered to meet me at his office in Germantown in 2 hours. Oh, and it was IN THE MIDDLE OF A SNOWSTORM!!! So, he took an x-​ray and told me that another tooth (the OTHER one I had the filling in back in October) needed a root canal, too. Yes, two root canals in 4 days. Lucky me. But, he was great and soon enough, I was out of the pain. I was so grateful!
He’s a very nice man and took the time to explain the procedure to me. I can’t tell you how surprised I was that he came in on a Sunday, in a snowstorm, and performed my root canal by himself, with no dental assistant. I am eternally grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend this endodontist. If you must have a root canal, Dr. Sarkarzadeh will make it a STRESSLESS, PAINLESS experience.
