Fantastic beer selection that always changes. Great martinis. They have free live music on Saturdays that does not suck when the weather gets colder. They make a mean tatortot plate too that you have to try.

Okay I get this place is trying to make it. Fine. However, it is doomed because the drinks are on the high side and each shot is measured. Ugh! Get me out of here.

Love the groovy vibe here. It is quite the eclectic setup which you would not expect to be located in an unassuming strip mall housed next to a Chinese buffet, across from a Starbucks and a building over from one of those pompous, megalithic churches. Great cocktails and I do mean cocktails, not your average rum and coke Wisconsin joint. They have entertainment pretty much every night of the week and that could be hit or miss. Friendly staff and owners.

Sheer has a great atmosphere with an eclectic crowd. The drinks are excellent and at reasonable prices. There are plenty of specials throughout the week and of course the live music with no cover is a real bonus. Try it, you’ll come back!

I originally wrote that if things changed I’d update my review. The good news is that I’m updating my review for the Sheer Lounge because Kevin and Kris have found their groove and really got it going at the Sheer Lounge. The live musical entertainment nearly every Friday and Saturday is a nice addition to the Germantown night scene. They’ve also added smaller versions of their massively sized martinis, making it easier to enjoy a couple of them without needing to be scraped up off the floor (although if you want, the big ones are still there!). They also draw an eclectic crown that spans a broad range of ages. All in all, a fun and lively place to be!
