I have used this company exclusively for all my tub re-glazing needs for the last seven years and never received a complaint or had a warranty issue. Owning a top rated home remodeling company I only work with professional that give 100 percent quality service and product and this company has never let me down. They simple do s great job and our very professional. Thumbs up for Tubs on Time!

When we first moved into our townhouse, we renovated 3 of the full bathrooms. However, with one of them, we only changed out the flooring, toilet and vanity but left the shower/bath as it was in decent shape. Fast forward a year later, we decided to change out the bath and tile walls since you could tell there was water damage behind the walls. Our contractor suggested we refinish our steel metal bathtub since it would such a hassle to remove it and not damage any of bathroom with the new fixtures. We agreed and I started searching online for possible Bathtub Refinishers. I called about 4 possible companies and decided on Tubs on Time based on their positive reviews on Angie’s List and their price. Issue 1: With a name of Tubs on Time, you would expect punctuality from them as they also state on their Angie’s List profile, but they were not. Given, they were just at the wrong address and couldn’t figure it out themselves. But that’s okay, he was only 30 minutes late and was in the right neighborhood, just at the wrong numbered house. I was not home during the time of the work, my boyfriend was instead. He said they got to work quickly. He saw them clean up the old bathtub, tape everything off, scrap off the old caulk around the tub and even cover all the fixtures including the mirror, which isn’t even close to the bathtub, but I did appreciate them for being overly careful not to overspray on anything else in the bathroom. The work took about 2.5 hours to complete, which from when I called other companies is the average expected time. They cleaned up after themselves, taped a sheet on the door alerting us to let the tub dry for at least 24 hours before use and a list of safe and harmful cleaning supplies that can and cannot be used. Our bath tub does look wonderful, very white and clean. There are a number of specks along the side of the tub, so the surface is not completely smooth, but that’s to be expected and not that big of a deal. The smell afterwards is horrible and has lasted for 2 whole days so far. We have no used the bath tub yet so cannot comment on it. Issue 2: They did not provide a receipt at the end. My boyfriend should have rememered and asked for it, so I understand that this is both parties fault. I simply called their number again the next morning and reminded them of the situation. As soon as I mentioned that no receipt was given, the man(Irving?) started to speak in Spanish to his partner for a solid 4 minutes with me on hold still and then told me to give him 5 minutes to call me back. Odd… but I hung up anyways. After 20 minutes and no call returned, I called Irving again. He said that he was sorry and will email it later that afternoon as he was at a job site. Understandable, I texted him my email address and physical address so he can also mail me the actual receipt too. The next morning I still did not receive at least an email copy of my receipt. I called Irving again and reminded him. He said he was sorry and will get it to later this afternoon again. I finally got a receipt via email, but only it wasn’t my receipt. The amount wasn’t even correct and it stated that I had paid with credit card. Wrong– we paid with a check, so I’m not sure if this is just a made-up receipt or simply someone else’s receipt they emailed over quickly. I have called and left yet another voicemail again stating this is not my receipt and haven’t heard a response back yet. My rating is on the overall experience with this company, which includes the final price paid, the final result of the refinishing and their customer service. I thought it was be helpful to review this Company on Unilocal since they are only on Angie’s List and not everyone has an account with them. Would I use them again? As of right now, no only because it has become such a problem just to email me my correct receipt
