Gettysburg is a wonderful historic town. That said its quite boring for the little ones in your life. This treasure of a place is just what our kids needed. Making bubbles big enough to be inside was just one of the highlights. The ladies that run it are so warm and welcoming. They make you feel like you’re at a friends house and can play all day.

We had my daughter’s birthday party here today. The owners were wonderful. They are very caring and make sure that kids have a fun place to play while being educational. My daughter and her friends had a great time. We will be back

I absolutely adore this amazing place and the ladies that run the museum are the best; my 2 ½ would stay there all day if he could. The museum is in an old house, I’m guessing from the 1800’s, with two floors of the most clever activity and play ideas. There is a whole room devoted to Civil War era kitchen play time; this part is my favorite. There are costumes, pretend food, cups, plates and a fireplace to «cook» food. The only bad thing about the place is that when it fills up with people it can become a bit overwhelming but my son enjoys it and so do I. I highly recommend a visit to the Explore & More!
