Very Cool! A must see before you go to the Gettysburg battlefield because it explains the events very accurately. Yes its a little hokey /dated /the movie could be a little more tighter but its still super impressive that this diorama is TO-SCALE of the entire Gettysburg area and all the details are in place. Was very glad we experienced it!

I feel the movie or pics behind it could be more helpful. It is very interesting and doesn’t cost a lot, so I would recommend checking it out if you have time. Kids can either think the little figures are cool, or they’ll be bored during the show. But they’ll like the look around.

This was a nice way to explain the war if you didn’t get it the first time in school. Gift shop had a good selection. There’s plenty of seating in the show & the lady does a good job of warning you not to walk down the stairs until all the lights have comeback on.

This is an excellent spot for a nap. I have epilepsy and the diorama has a sort-of disco light show during Pickett’s Charge. I mentioned it to the host and they were crazy accommodating and warned me when it would start and when it would be over. I closed my eyes during and the dulcet tones of the narrator lulled me into a little late-morning snooze. It was not unlike AP history and sleeping during class so, if that was your bag too, def recommend this! There’s few things I like more than a gigantic, meticulous diorama, the civil war or weird mannequins so, I loved this– no snark. All of the employees were really really nice. The other guests weren’t loud or obnoxious and the diorama is crazy big and really cool-looking. I LOVED how the town looked lit up at night, campfires blazing and candles glowing. I loved how much detail was put into the presentation. I loved how thoroughly each day of battle was explained and mapped out. The best part was the kindness and concern of the employees though, they didn’t have to give a fiddle I have seizures. They did and it made my visit to the diorama so much more pleasant. THANKS!

This is the first place we stopped when in Gettysburg. The show was short, but offered an excellent introduction to the history of Gettysburg. Do not expect something that will blow you away, because that is not the purpose of this. If you look at it as a brief introductory lecture, then you will not be disappointed.

Excellent place to go before touring the battlefield for the novice to receive a simple overview of the battle in 3D miniature
