Wow what an amazing dinner we had tonight! My wife Amy tried the Thai crab cakes which she says were terrific and I had the lobster mac & cheese. Amazing flavor! The service was quick for a Friday night and we sat out back on the back deck listening to live music. We will be back

Very good food. Have a little extra in your purse though. They have a great dining room setting and a deck bar for summer fun.

First time here. I got the gyro with fries, and baklava for dessert. The gyro was very filling. Fries were seasoned. The baklava was in more of a pie shape, and looser than other baklavas I’ve had, but it was tasty nonetheless. The bill for two people was pretty pricey, but the food we got was good, and our waitress Katie was excellent. Oh, they also give complimentary homemade bread and hummus while you wait for your meal, and both were great! The bread was warm and crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. The hummus was unique in that it was practically swimming in balsamic vinegar, but it gave it a nice tangy flavor. I’d definitely come here again.

Wonderful food! Great local restaurant. Everything is great! Our favorite is the drunkin steak… Melts like butter! Humus and bread is wonderful. BOGO gyros on Sundays :)

Went out for an early dinner with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We were seated quickly which was nice, our waiter came for our drink order and returned with 2 of the 3 in clean glasses. Disgusting. We ordered the 3 spread appetizer and it was ok. I love hummus but was not a fan of the homemade version here. It took forever for the food to arrive Which was not great since we had a sleepy kid.

I came here with a group of classmates from the Emergency Management Institute for dinner on a week night. I ordered the Chicken Yanni and a strawberry basil magarita. My dish was really good and the margarita was fantastic. Our waitress did a great job serving our huge group(11 people) and regularly checked on us without be annoying. I’m surprised Olivia’s doesn’t have a more favorable rating.

We went to another restaurant first that had lost their electricity that then we traveled to Olivia’s and very happy we did because the service was great/thanks Ariel!/ my sang-Rita was very good although overpriced I felt($ 9), the calamari app was good and very big, and I got souvlaki and my husband got a gyro which was BOGO(however wish I had known because we would have just split that!) the gyro was excellent and so were the fries. The souvlaki was decent however the chicken on it seemed a little … Fake? Like a frozen chicken breast. Next time I will get the beef or lamb because that was excellent. The dessert case looked phenomenal but we had no room

We love coming here and is one of the restaurants we miss most after moving away. The Greek dressing is amazing! I buy in bulk and take home with me! The Greek salad is enormous and delicious! As is the salmon, gyro and everything else I have had here. The staff are always very accommodating.

I’ve been here 3 times over the past few years. My second visit wasn’t good at all, but not worth detailing because it was several years ago. Went again yesterday. The food is okay-good. Olivia’s is a Mediterranean restaurant, so naturally one would expect garlic in the food. I love garlic as much as anyone else, but there is a threshold. Yesterday’s food was imbalanced by excessive garlic. The food was also over-salted. For the area, Olivia’s is a decent spot for lunch or dinner. They have a liquor license, so also a rare place to grab a drink. The menu is also unique to the area. So, in short, I think it’s worth stopping; just don’t expect mind-blowing cuisine.

I met my friend at Olivia’s in September for a lunch date, I’ve eaten here a few times before and had great service and food. I was so disappointed… There were flies everywhere! Yes, FLIES, FLIES, and more Flies. When we asked the waitress to move inside she was annoyed and even saw an eye roll. Excuse us for not wanting to be attacked by flies. I killed 7 with my napkin before I couldn’t take it anymore. Inside still had flies but not as bad. Either way we had lost our appetite and asked for the check. My friend went back a few weeks later with another to give it a second chance and the fly infestation was still there(inside and out).

I went to Olivia’s pretty frequently as a college student. Five years later, I don’t know if my standards have risen, or if Olivia’s has just really dropped in quality. First, serving beer in a frosted glass is a no-no. But we did get to try a beer we had never had before, so that’s a plus. The bruschetta and garlic bread were basically the same thing, the bruschetta just had some cheese and tomatoes in it. Both were way too greasy. I got the spanikopita, which was severely lacking in feta cheese. It was also much too greasy. It was also accompanied by garlic bread, making the meal just way too greasy and carb-loaded. The Greek salad bread bowl was ridiculous. It was the size I would have put on my dinner table for 4 – 5 people. The bread wasn’t very good, but the feta was delicious — I wish there had been more in my spanikopita! It was all iceberg lettuce, it was very difficult to eat, and just not very great. It was mostly lettuce, so we weren’t getting enough of the good stuff — peppers, olives, tomatoes, etc. The service was fine, and it’s gives you a little variety from what downtown Gettysburg has to offer.

Always an excellent meal and great service. My favorite Gettysburg area restaurant. I had the stuffed Shrimp Imperial and loved it. Just the right amount of shrimp and melt in the mouth crab imperial. I paired it with a glass of wine.

I went on a Friday evening with a friend. We had wines from a limited list. The greek salads at the outset were fresh and delicious. I had a special — Thai crab cakes on asperagus and angel hair pasta that were excellent. The atmosphere is casual.

My daughter and I had a great experience at Olivia’s last night. Friendly host greeted us at the door as soon as we arrived. Our server Lexi was nice and attentive, always checking on us and refilling our drinks. Peach cobbler martini is amazing. Hummas and fresh bread is excellent. Mousakka and kids penne mac & cheese are delicious. Quite a lot of food too. Lexi packed up all the extra and put it in a bag to go for us. On the way out the host told us to have a good night. Overall, atmosphere, staff and food were all great. We will definitely be back.

The hummus is AMAZING, one of my favorite parts of eating there. Their food has always been really good but the best part of dinner is definitely the dessert. Be sure to save room for the cheesecake it is 5 star.

Nice place. Service was a bit slow but ok. I had the stuffed flounder which 5 star! My friends all had gyros(why buy street food at a restaurant?). Had it been a food cart I would say it looked good. She had a Cosmo and said it was very weak.

In Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, after our ladies volleyball team won SIXGAMESSTRAIGHT, OVERTHECOURSEOF2+ HOURS, we were a tad thirsty. Leaving littlestown, we headed to Gettysburg to get some drinks. Stopped at olivia’s. Party/house music was rocking and we knew we had found the right place to drop ~$ 150(there were 7 – 9 of us)! People on the tiki bar, lots of cars in the parking lot– we were psyched! Unfortunately, the girl at the front door turned us away with a «what can I help you with?» And a «we close at 10»(it was 9:59 pm). Rude! We went to TGIFridays and spent about $ 150(before tip). I know $ 150 doesn’t make or break a business, but for 45 minutes, would it have killed you to serve us a few drinks and some easy appetizers?

Olivia’s could use a visit from Robert Irvine. Food is okay. Service is okay. It’s a huge place. The outside tiki is okay. There are better options nearby. Little pricy. I know locals fawn over this place but food snobs like me would love to see Olivia’s kick it up a notch. You won’t be disappointed but you won’t be writing a 5 star Unilocal review either.

Came here for the first time and it was great. The cook came stumbling in after we did so the food took a while but the waiter offered free extra bread and hummus for it. Food was outstanding and worth it! Large portions and prices were good too. If in the area will def be back.

Olivia’s is probably the best-kept secret of Southern Gettysburg. Everytime I’m driving to get there, I wonder«have I gone to far?» until I ultimately see that sign on the right welcoming me to this homey Greek-inspired place. The food is pretty great. I’ve come on dates and with groups of friends, and there’s always something for someone! I usually go for a few Mezedes(appetizers) to get a sampling of flavors. To be honest, some of them are pretty big, so this is a great way to enjoy the flavors of Greece. My favorites are the stuffed grape leaves with loads of tzatziki and the Saganaki(if you’ve never had this baked cheese finished with a flambéed cognac and a squeeze of lemon, you must try it!). The salads are great and not shy on the feta. The sandwiches are pretty awesome — souvlaki, gyros, and veggie pitas are all on point. The wine list even includes some Greek wines, which seems appropriate Prices are a little steep for some of the dishes, though you can definitely get an affordable meal if you stick to sandwiches and certain appetizers. The waitstaff has always been pretty great when I go. And if you drop in on a weekend evening, some local musician will be sure to impress and set a chilled out mood. Be sure to come Olivia’s for unparalleled Greek-style food!
