Stayed here this fall to tour the battlefield. It was a «last-resort» choice, as we wanted to go during the Apple Harvest Fest and there was VERY limited hotel availability in town. There were 7 of us and 1 toddler in our group, and we had 3 rooms between us. Worked as a roof over our heads and relatively close to the battlefield, but the rooms stank of cigarette smoke(regardless of being ‘nonsmoking’ or not), the bathroom towels were crispy and threadbare, there was hair on the walls in 2 of the bathrooms. One room had a dead cockroach in it. The baseboard heater was crusty. Our doorknob had dents as though someone had attempted to bust it in. Missing towel rack in the bathroom, holes left in the wall where it had been mounted. Large stain on the King-bed comforter. Would not stay here again. In retrospect, would have been much better to either rent a campsite to pop up a tent, or fork over the $ 400+/night for a room at the Gettysburg Hotel.
