Starland Metals

I ordered their 32″ laser cut coat hook rack. Its a great, sturdy piece of metal that has five hooks and is perfect for inside our closet… BUT, all of the edges are so sharp you could use them to cut a tomato (or slice your fingers, hands, and clothing.) This is what it says on Starland’s website: «Laser-​cut process means hooks are safe and smoothly rounded for a clean appearance. No sharp edges.» When I called to complain and talked to Michael, he said, «Well, that’s what happens with the stainless steel ones. Not so much with the powder coated ones.» He offered no apology, took no responsibility, and made no offer to make it right. At my own expense, I am having a local machine shop «radius» the edges so they are not sharp anymore. Very disappointing experience.
