Tokazewski Jeffrey MD

Dr. Tokazewski is an amazing, compassionate, and competent doctor. I’m a medical doctor in training myself and chose him to be my personal doctor, and I highly recommend Dr. T to my family and friends.

I *COMPLETELY* disagree with Ann V. My husband and I have both been seeing Dr. Tokazewski for almost two years, since we moved to Cherry Hill. My husband Chris is terminally ill with end-​stage liver disease, and Dr. Tokazewski immediately took complete control of his case, treatment, pain management, and the rotation of 20+ medications he’s on at any given time. He also conducts home visits for patients who have debilitating illnesses or difficulties getting around, and I’ve seen firsthand that he has an extremely comforting bedside manner — literally!
I referred a good friend of mine to Dr. T; she had recently lost her mother, after having cared for her during a protracted battle with cancer. Rather than carelessly prescribing her anxiety medication, he patienty listened to her sob for half an hour and then genty advised her to seek counseling rather than drug therapy. Finding a doctor who’ll listen to you with kindness and patience and treat you thoughtfully and holistically is difficult. To say he doesn’t care is absurd.
He’s also incredibly accessible; I can email him directly through the Penn Medicine web portal and I’ve always heard back from him, with advice or a prescription or an order for X-​rays, within 24 hours. My husband has been on almost 30 different meds off and on since we started seeing Dr. T and we’ve never once been treated with less than respectful, attentive, timely care.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience, Ann — I can assure you Dr. Tokazewski is one of the finest PCPs in South Jersey.

Worst doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Misdiagnosed me and insisted I had something minor but I knew I did not. Was then hospitalized (for over a week) hours after I went to see him. Was told by the hospital that they were glad that I went to the hospital bc if I waited any longer I would have to deal with some major major issues.
Another time dealing with him, I called the office on their emergency line because I was having medical issues, he said he would call in a script… A day later the pharmacy still has not received a call from him. He just simply does not care.
