This has become our go-to spot here in Gibson. Quality of other places has gone downhill and the service here is just top notch. I love their mexican food, definitely authentic and good tasting! Thy serve breakfast all day and their pancakes are the best! The atmosphere is kitschy too, very cute! I don’t know why it’s not busy every time we go in there, but I do know it’s hopping on Fridays when they have AYCE fish! Definitely check them out, it’s worth it!

I really wanted to love this place. As a Mexican food fan I was very excited to move to a town that had a restaurant like this! But I was sadly disappointed when I ate my meal. The chicken chimichanga was bland and full of beans and the chicken that was in it was cubed and also tasteless. The salsa was great as was the red sauce on the chimichanga. But that’s all I can really say that stood out. It just lacked that Mexican flavor. I really hope that this restaurant can improve as I would love to be back!

El Rodeo’s is a unique restaurant in a small town of 3500 people. While most of the menu is your standard small town restaurant fare, they have Mexican offering that take it to another level. We go here for breakfast whenever we’re in town visiting my dad and I always get the same thing — chorizo and eggs. I haven’t had a Mexican breakfast this good since we visited my husband’s family in Texas. My dad goes as least once a week and recently found out that they make the chorizo themselves right there in the restaurant. I just wished we had something like this in northern KY. We would be there once a week too!
