Noisy-right on the main highway through town, you hear every single car, truck, and motorcycle that drives by. And it is 300′ from the PA Turnpike, and on ramps and off ramps even closer. So you have that working for you. Dirty-might be the dirtiest and most run down hotel I have ever stayed at, smelly-hard to describe, but pungent; I didn’t take my clothes out of my luggage… that kind of gross. The windows don’t open and the AC barely functions so everything has that musty stale air funk smell to it. I spent hours with my door open, enjoying the sound of the PA Turnpike just a few hundred feet away. Cramped-I have a cutting board at home larger than the desktop, and the bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. Low quality and apathetic about it. I checked in and unpacked only to find out that the refrigerator was not working. A call to the front desk resulted in a fridge from another room. Unfortunately the replacement fridge was also defective, but worse for me was that I didn’t find out until the next evening, and the three days of food I put in there went bad. Notifying the front desk resulted in no offer to make amends. One look at the free breakfast area that doubles as the check-in area, and I knew it was time to find a restaurant. They actually put dirty bedding from the rooms on the very tables meant to be used during their breakfast service! But hey, it helped me appreciate my stays at real hotels, so it wasn’t a total loss…
